@@jorgenpersson662 First: NATO Isn't - has never been - agressive. NATO is in its core DEFENSIVE. Will react when someone is aggressive. Second: Nobody can predict what Putin does. I was not the only one that was chocked when Feb 24 was a fact. There are all reasons to think that he either be stopped in Ukraine, or he will keep on his imperial politics= attacking som neighbouring country to get new land. I'll never understand the Swedish thinking that they are (have been) vaccinated to not be invated. This is just a dangerous myth. I don't know, but assume that Putin got some plans to invate Baltic countries. In these plans I'm quite sure Gotland play a important role: By controlling Gotland, a Baltic invation become much more easy. But Sweden being NATO member, this whole plan collapse. Suddenly Gotland is NATOterritory. Meaning that an invation at Gotland will within hours mean full war with 32 NATO countries. Therefore : Most Sweden politicians understand now that NATO is the only organisation that can provide needed PROTECTION! Thats way they suddenly - in a hurry - applied for NATO membership. All this together with the Finns . Finns know Russia better than anybody, I think . Now we can build a very, very strong North flank - all Nordic countries together. I think we are safer now, than ever. Peace for 200 years.

Both Iraq-wars were US wars - NOT NATO wars. The only NATO war ( art 5 war) so far is the respond-war i Afghanistan dued to 9-11. Even Sweden took part in that war . I don't understand your question.
