Aero Precision SOLUS Ep. 1 - Initial Impressions

Hey guys I wanted to bring you all on a journey with me with this Aero Precision SOLUS Rifle. This will be a multi-part video series where you guys will find out with me how this rifle performs over time through different tests and just maybe if this rifle is a good choice for you. I know I’m a bit late but; Could you make a video explaining the basics to PRS, equipment needed Vs Used (essential Vs. Unessential) , mil vs moa. I understand there’s plenty of videos out there but I like hour you break down things

I really love this rifle although I’m going to go with the seekins hit just due to the fact it has a quick change barrel feature. Really wish aero went that route

Explain, what do you mean by "sped up" a lot of people are new to LRS

@@loucyphers_nightmare so a lot of times after you get enough rounds on a new barrel and break in the throat of it, youll see a velocity increase on the barrel with the same rounds and itll level out then until the barrel starts to die. But youll have to test it every time u change ammo type or even lot number

Looking forward to the series as well. Only reason I didnt buy it when it first came out was it had no folder and quick change action. Some say quick change is a gimmick, but i think theyve never changed out a barrel before. Especially on a tikka, lol!

I appreciate it. The folder is coming out soon so im told, but i agree that while u might not be changing barrels at the range, its nice when its time to change a barrel that u can just loosen a screw

I am considering buying my first bolt gun. Not sure if i should go the “buy once, cry once” route by picking up the Accuracy International AT-X ($1000 off sale) or taking the more “sensible” route by buying something like this Aero Precision Solus, Seekins HIT, or Tikka T3X.

I have the AT-X as well. If u can get it for 1k off thats great but it doesnt shoot twice as good as this rifle being twice the cost to be honest
