1:11:48 - Briggs realized he was about to lose again to Jerry, so he switches a card he just normal summoned and declared an attack with into defense position. Thus preventing 2 attacks on his LP. and Jerry still did his thing

With Injection Fairy Lily it's actually safe to attack into Krebons, since it's effect is upon attack declaration. Lily's effect doesn't prompt until damage calculation.
Hence you could have either 'burned' Briggs for another 800, or gotten rid of the body on the field.
