Never forget the Baywatch Episode with baseball cards. Where Mitch Buchannon is in Rehab and befriended a kid that collects baseball cards. He followed a trail of 89 upper deck to find the kid after he was kidnapped.

I never purchased 1995 but I did pony up for the 1996 Finest Set *you opened one late last year* remember how pumped I was pulling the silver cards which were uncommon and looking through The Beckett Price Guide *shakes head how nuch it costs now* but any way t'was a nice rip Bro and YAY!! Thatcha continue to quit cold turkey on smoking 😀 proud of you man 😀

I got to see some full proof sheets of 93 Finest Baseball recently. They are at Heritage Auction now. At the same show I also saw a complete Desert Storm set.

My old LCS guy put the month & year he priced the card above the price, not the year of the card. Made it easier to re-value cards every few months.

I love this set. I have a PSA 9 Juan Gonzalez in the 93 set. Awesome cards, especially for the era.

Cool video, man! So once those thin cell membranes are peeled off th cards are vibrant and unspoiled. Holds up to this day. Cool stuff.
Oh nevermind grading companies will leave these unpeeled and note w/ coating. Interesting. Its like the polybagged comics being worth more sealed w card

Seriously, tho... is that discoloration on the actual cards? If so that's a really unfortunate side effect of having those "protective labels" on the cards.
You gotta peel those peels off.
The plastic will eventually degrade and destroy the card.
Do you think they'd still peel off clean all these years later? I'm thinking they're semi-fused to the cards by now.
