Thank you for your comments... I'm sure it will be a process... willing to give it a go as long as costs do not exceed the value, if you know what I mean. Would love to have it functioning again for my Mom. She loves listening to her "tapes."
Hi. Do you have an idea where to look for replacement belt/s for its cassette deck (TC-33)? I have one right now in pretty nice shape. If only the deck is functioning it would be great!
Great, thanks for sharing! We have one in possession and it has a couple of electronic failures and a missing tape button. Basically no volume control (it jumps on its own)... and right speaker not functioning. Hoping to get it working again! Any tips welcome!
1.Balance to be in the middle :) 2. Turn the left branch into the right channel to check if a sound is coming from the right. 3. Dropping is probably due to a broken or broken sound slider or interruption. 4.If no sound from the right channel is often the final step for amplification: www.radiomuseum.org/tubes/tube_stk4311.html Or there is a break on the board or the amplifier slider. 5. There is also a fault in the selector buttons: TAPE; CD; TUNER; PHONO .Always these buttons are damaged (smudge, do not wear) 6. Changing the stk4311 or button cleaning is only done by a specialist, bc. Everything has to be dismantled and the buttons have fine and hard to collect springs and plates. I hope I've been useful and successful!
