The r*pe bit was glossed over a bit. Not the same as adultery, and the ruling is not the same. A victim has the right to accuse, and she won’t be punished for not having other witnesses with her. And at least one Hadith seems to indicate that her testimony alone is sufficient.

In Islam, for committing sin publicly is more punishable than committed in closed space.... If a person commits any sin he should keep it secret, it's between his God and him.. If he sincerely repents he will be forgiven by Allah (God).

Him saying sin gets you closer to Allah because you repent is so so true. May Allah forgive us, true repentence gets you in the sincere state where you truly and sincerely ask for forgiveness and that sincerity is what makes you closer with Allah, you are really focused in your duas and prayers. May Allah help us be that sincere and focused in every of our duas and prayers. Allah is truly the greatest, and we are so blessed to be Muslims. I reverted one month ago from Christianity, I’m beyond happy that i now recognize my creator and I learn more and more about him.

When you are a good Muslim, you benefit yourself and your society at the same time because you feel a bond with The Creator who ordered you to do good and avoid evil.. In this life you will live with peace in mind and soul, and in the afterlife you get good place in Paradise God willing !!
How do you know you are a good Muslim? You need to pass the test right? the test is for you to know your inner self and the test never stops it's with good and bad, imagine you are walking in the street and find a suitcase full of cash, do you take it to the police or do you keep it? What if everything that you do goes against you and nothing works out for you, who do you blame? surely you can't b;ame yourself you did all you could, Life is not as simple as you may think.

Allah guidence is not what you think, it's just that if you do bad you get punished if you know and believe it you avoid doing bad because you fear the punishment everytime something come up or a test you choose acording to your believe and fear, that is why the saying you can't lie to yourself.

My best friend from since I was 13 (I became Muslim 10 months ago) is the most genuine guy I’ve ever known, he doesn’t follow any religion but believes there’s something that created us and agrees with many things the Quran says, he just doesn’t want to follow rules he says, I don’t think he’s atheist I think he’s agnostic correct me if I’m wrong, but my point is there’s so many nice non believers out there it’s just that propaganda and western narrative manipulates the non believers into turning away from Islam because they don’t want people close to God
If you ask me personally (which I’m probably not fit to answer) that isn’t the definition of agnostic. Being agnostic means you don’t believe or disbelieve in a higher power. From what you said, it sounds like he does believe in a Creator. As for me, I feel similar. I recently bought the Quran to read recently(raised Orthodox Christian), but I’ve pretty much lived most of my life unknowingly in accordance with Islam’s rules ( for the most part of course we all sin). However, I think what turned me off are churches and how they are organized/how judgmental people some people are. I would walk in a church and see the people who I’ve personally witnessed commit great sins turn around and claim that they are better then the nonbelievers. How can they speak for the Creator? Even if a person dies doing the same sin thing over and over again (depending on what sin of course) I could see the Creator accepting that person into heaven. After all, only the Creator could know his/her heart. In addition, I would see the pastor misuse funds and take advantage of the people who blindly believe. I think there are more reasons then just propaganda/media. There are people who see what religion can bring sometimes and choose to pray to a Creator and essentially cutting out the “middle man” so to speak.

I am from a country half Orthodox Christian, half Islam.
I had someone tell me the same, they saw mch corruption in the Church, and lack of faith within the people. They said they respect Islam and the pure faith we follow it.
But many are afraid to leave Orthodox or previous other faiths due to family, society, cultural pressure.

Great dawah session. Gonna watch again with a notebook to write some of this down inshAllah. I pray this man does read the Quran. I know it is difficult when you are dyslexic as I am also. I never read a book from start to finish ever in my life until I read the Quran. It was the only book I was able to read from start to finish without making mistakes. The Quran opened up a world to me of reading that I would have never been open to if I had never read it. Now I can't get enough of reading. May Allah open this man's heart.
