Program Description: This episode introduces viewers to the pioneers of rock. The series travels southern backroads to new orleans, memphis and nashville and then moves north to chicago, interviewing little richard, bo diddley, chuck berry, jerry lee lewis, pioneer disc jockey hoss allen and producers dave bartholomew, sam phillips, and phil and marshall chess along the way. These musical renegades of the '50's reveal how they borrowed from rhythm and blues, country, gospel, and jazz to create a whole new sound - rock and roll.

Very informative on music back then between whites and blacks. I really enjoy his personal talks of #ElvisPresley, #LittleRichard, #SamPhillips & #ChuckBerry ...idc what ppl may say of him but #IkeTurner is that guy. He lived and breathed music and everyone said he was extremely professional when it came to his shows before, during and after #TinaTurner... he's just that guy, ya know!!!

So babies, another "Son Of A Preacher Man" (Dusty Springfield) is revealed unto the world !!! Ike Turner is revealed to be the scion of a 'called man' !!! It beggeth the question, is it he whom Tina was singing about in her intrepretation of that lovely song (cheers unto John Hurley and Ronnie Wilkins) back in that day ? Could it have been? Wast it? Only the Ike-ness and Tina-ness slash Tina-ness and Ike-ness wilt ever knoweth the truth on that !!! Let's cease talking about what we don not know !!! No babies, stop speculating!!! Stop gossiping !!! Uncle says STOP !!!
P.S ... Dear Mr Turner of the Ike kind ... whether it was thyself or wardrobe (one suspects the former) ... a very tasteful, elegant and impressively minimalistic choice of apparel and jewellery !!! Other than being beautifully, musical, ye look nice in this interview !!!
