I had a post appear in my FB feed that caused me to pause and think MY GOSH but this hose looks like Sunday Silence. And down the Rabbit Hole I went. Only Sunday Silence fans I think will understand my elation to find my suspicions correct. I remember the battles between Sunday Silence and Easy Goer. So many hearts broken in the Belmont that year but OOOOHHHH what a scrappy little black horse. He more than redeemed himself and temporarily quieted down the nay sayers in the Breeders Cup. My heart got broken again when he was sold and sent to Japan. Turns out it was the best thing for him. Japan has preserved a line better than I think could have been done anywhere else by anyone else. Thank you too all those responsible in Japan for recognizing and preserving such a wonderful lineage. Equinox has a new fan.
