Songs from 1965 to 197979 are still heard. These were the best years for eurovision. All others are already forgotten after 2 days, especially since the year 2000.
Yes I remember when in 1969 the first prize was shared by 4 singers 4 countries but I fondly remember when Luxembourg won twice in 1972 Vicky Leandros and again 1973 with Anne-Marie David both great songs
I have the feeling that Euphoria(2012), Only teardrops(2013) and Heroes(2015) became really popular. I think Arcade(2019) will become popular too because it is an amazing song!
We all know the real winners of 2011 was Italy, them and turkey 2010 got snubbed. This years Italy entry is great too but I'm biased, Suongo Molisano.Seems like from 2004-2017 almost all the winners were spectacular. Fairytale and Amar pelos dois make me want to switch from Cello to violin, and Emmelie De Forest is... wow shes hot. 12 points to all from Ohio, I;m probably a quarter of the people who know Eurovision in this state
@@cankucuk17 Hey don't get me wrong, We Can Be the Same was cheated too, great song and a dancing power ranger. Sebnem's Dinle was a great song too and she's really hot, she should have won '97 Thanks Turkey, keep making those janik handguns too, nothing better for the price O H I O
I agree with you that Italy was robbed in 2011 (I wanted Slovenia to win though)and MaNga was robbed in 2010. Now while Mans song was fantastic I am still irked that the jury robbed Il Volo in 2015. I Agree about a lot of the winners from 2003 to now. My favorite winner has to be Conchita Wurst. You and I are in the minority of Americans who know about Eurovision. Greetings from Texas!
From 1956 to 2000 all of the top songs had one single theme, nobody was really able to dance or move freely on stage. On 2001 (6:34) something changed as just a little bit of freedom was introduced and in 2002 6:43 it really became modern Eurovision thanks to Latvia and of course Turkey blew everything out of proportion at 2003 6:51. Nothing in the top songs of Eurovision since this time had ever been even close to Turkeys freedom of movement on stage so Turkey really revolutionised pop music at that time? Quite probably! Following Ukraine with Ruslana and Greece with Elena really cemented the tradition and carried pop music world wide into a new era away from the boring ballads of the past. It seems to me that in 2001 and 2002 was the precursor and 2003 the true turning point. It took 46 years to go from the Switzerland's "Refrain" to Sertab's "Everything that I can"
Being from America and having lived here all my life, I’d never heard of Eurovision. Came to know of it a few years ago when I was looking up ABBA videos. Seems they’re the only ones, of contest winners, that made it big internationally. Don’t know about the last few years since I really don’t follow current music trends.

The winner in 2018 is israel idiot
The best out of all is 2009 of course
ZE FISHYYY I said MY WINNER not the real winner! So please don’t say me when i am idiot , because i am not idiot!
2015 , 2016, 2017 will always be the best songs ever.. And of course EUPHORIA.
2019 TODAS LAS CANCIONES LINDAS. EL MEJOR EUROVISIÓN. BRAVO 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
1965 France Gall ..it was the best one of them ♥
I like the Song but she sang off key on the night. I read that even her French Boyfriend told her that she had performed out of tune, when she spoke to him on the 'phone afterwards. He told her that her performance was terrible...
Good old days France
Heroes is the Best song for me
In 2019: 🇳🇱The Netherlands (490 points) , runner up Italy.
Thanks for sharing. ' amazing songs.
The way the winners become more and more rigged is amazing

Salvador Sobral is an exception, and it's a compliment
i love it beautiful melody

That crack of greece in 7:05 made me laugh so hard😂😂😂😂
2019
Netherlands
Duncan Laurence-Arcade
No spoiler :(
Songs from 1965 to 197979 are still heard. These were the best years for eurovision. All others are already forgotten after 2 days, especially since the year 2000.
2019 - The Netherlands - Arcade - Duncan Laurence
Ja duhh
Yes I remember when in 1969 the first prize was shared by 4 singers 4 countries but I fondly remember when Luxembourg won twice in 1972 Vicky Leandros and again 1973 with Anne-Marie David both great songs
AND NOW 2019 THE NETHERLANDS WON 🙋🏼♂️
With a song in ENGLISH...
I have the feeling that Euphoria(2012), Only teardrops(2013) and Heroes(2015) became really popular. I think Arcade(2019) will become popular too because it is an amazing song!
Damn u literally predicted the future…
Now Arcade is the first Eurovision song to have over 1 billion streams
WoW france and netherlands in the beginning they win so manu times
Sudenaz Sevindi See my comment to Planet of the Deaf....(french was an important language...going back to the days of Napoleon)
Super super compilation
We all know the real winners of 2011 was Italy, them and turkey 2010 got snubbed. This years Italy entry is great too but I'm biased, Suongo Molisano.Seems like from 2004-2017 almost all the winners were spectacular. Fairytale and Amar pelos dois make me want to switch from Cello to violin, and Emmelie De Forest is... wow shes hot. 12 points to all from Ohio, I;m probably a quarter of the people who know Eurovision in this state
What do you have against Turkey?
@@cankucuk17 Hey don't get me wrong, We Can Be the Same was cheated too, great song and a dancing power ranger. Sebnem's Dinle was a great song too and she's really hot, she should have won '97
Thanks Turkey, keep making those janik handguns too, nothing better for the price
O H I O
I agree with you that Italy was robbed in 2011 (I wanted Slovenia to win though)and MaNga was robbed in 2010. Now while Mans song was fantastic I am still irked that the jury robbed Il Volo in 2015. I Agree about a lot of the winners from 2003 to now. My favorite winner has to be Conchita Wurst. You and I are in the minority of Americans who know about Eurovision. Greetings from Texas!
Lena😘
Always remember 1989! Yugoslavia for the win!
Resili smo
It gets better and better...
Johnny Logan has to be one of the best ever contestants. 🙌🏼
The Duck ?...1988 Celine Dion! O, but ofcourse..you only speak and understand english! It's a EUROPEAN Songcontest duh....
2015-2019 (I know 2019 not added yet, but we know what the song sounds like) is a moodswing. Every year something completely different.
Ireland got three in a row
It took 46 years to go from the Switzerland's "Refrain" to Sertab's "Everything that I can"
NUKE love this comment

Being from America and having lived here all my life, I’d never heard of Eurovision. Came to know of it a few years ago when I was looking up ABBA videos. Seems they’re the only ones, of contest winners, that made it big internationally. Don’t know about the last few years since I really don’t follow current music trends.
George Alexander Celine Dion won in 1987
@johnny loganfan OK thanks
@@fanboy2015 - No - Celine Won in 1988.
