Duromax XP13000HX Oil Change

Howdy Y'all. After going 100+ hours of no power last week, thanks to Hurricane Beryl, it was time to get an oil change done. The oil changes take me at most 30 minutes to complete.

I use the Valvoline Daily Protection 10W-30 on the generator and Valvoline for all vehicles on the homestead (‪@valvoline‬ ).

Helpful Video. At Least During Removal You Didn't Drop The Drain Plug Into The Old Oil Like I Always Seem To Do.😊

Thanks. 😆 The drain plug has a washer and I did drop it in the video. The closed top oil pan prevents it from going any further than the top so it was an easy retrieval. Helps that the engine isn’t hot either.

Great video. Just did the first oil change on mine. I was at about 60 hours. Really black oil and looks like i was a little low. Perfect time for the oil change

@@thelakecommander7632 I did my first oil change at 22hours of use and then this was my second change. When I’m having to run it I check the oil at least every other tank swap.

The dual fuel XP13000 doesn’t have an oil filter. 🤔 The small engine is similar to a push lawnmower.
Has an air filter that just needs washing. If you run gas then there is a fuel filter cup that is also supposed to be cleaned.
