It makes sense,when you consider they both went through a good amount of trauma as kids and were raised on very harsh environments,so of course they would have an awkard and belligerant relationship with each other.

Don't worry, 2019 Gamora was influenced by crackhead Quill. I'm sure 2014 Gamora will be as well again ;) It will be really interesting/entertaining/even heartbreaking to see Quill and the rest try to rekindle their relationship with Gamora. So hyped for Vol.3.
@@gadoliumnitrogen7149 Idk it still feels weird to me though. They haven't been through any of the same experiences and such. Wouldn't be surprised if the plot of the movie is Peter realising it's not the same Gamora so can't have the same love for her.
@@MattTheHuman9 True. That Gamora hasn't been through with Peter's hardships and rough spots. That's what shaped them into their relationship. I get it, they can probably start new, but it just won't be the same anymore. Gamora's new identity can shift into the more warrior-like and rigid version of herself rather than the Gamora who loved Peter and would sacrifice herself for him.
I don’t think Peter and Gamora will get back together. The „new“ „past“ Gamora, that didn’t know Peter until they meet at the epic Endgame war, has obviously no feelings for him. Furthermore there is also no emotional bound to the other members of the guardians. I have three hypothesis: 1. In the end of GOG 2 they introduced someone that could be Richard Rider (Nova), so it could be that Gamora fells in love with him (who is in Marvel’s comics the partner of Gamora).
2: Adam Warlock could be introduced in GOG 3. An outright jealous Peter in the next Guardians film would be far less entertaining than a grumbly, competitive Peter as he tries to prove to Gamora and himself that he’s “better” for her than Adam or Richard. Unfortunately for Peter, that’s two competitors for Gamora’s attention. 3: Gamora won’t stay with anyone of these new characters - and Peter.
It could be that Gamora gets back to the Guardians of the Galaxy (maybe not who knows), but I think Gamora getting back together with Peter will be too impossible to create. So in the end he will have to accept that he lost her. Even because I think they will avoid to make GOG 3 to a „kitsch“ romance movie with the aim that Peter and Gamora will be back together. Probably most viewers wouldn’t appreciate such a Kitsch.
However, personally this would piss me off so much, because i seriously loved their awkward love relationship :( In general i really loved that family bound of the guardians.
At the end of endgame peter was searching for Gamora meaning that she wasn’t with when they left. It’s possibly that when the gauntlet was used it get rid all the people from another timeline, Gamora along with them.

I had hope that they would end up together again, but I know now that she just isn’t the same Gamora we knew. Her experiences made her who she was, and that Gamora we loved so much... is gone. Quill had to accept the hard truth.
GOTG 3 absolutely destroyed my dreams... and my heart, in a good way though. The ending was bitter sweet, and it was a *fantastic* way to end the trilogy. Big props to James Gunn.
I’ll admit I’m going to miss the Guardians being together, they _were_ fun.
