I think it's sad that Jerry Bruckheimer baled-out on Johnny when Disney let him go. If his being late to the set is the reason he's now giving for it, consider that just leaving for work meant escaping another attack/argument with Amber. Especially on Pirates 5 when she lopped-off part of his finger and ground a cigarette out in his face. I believe his supposed friendship fell apart when Johnny needed it the most.
