I wish they would've left this part alone. Lucky was the one who rescued her son and Bridgette. Lennie came after the action was done. Lucky was the one in control they pictured her here as a bystander instead of the strong character that the book intended her to be.
In the book Olympia has a daughter Bridgette and Olympia dies of a drug overdose. Also left out was that Bridgette shot santino bonatti. And santino was supposed to be much older and married with his own kids. They left a whole bunch of stuff out. I'm guessing cause it was too racy for prime time tv. I can see why Jackie Collins was pissed off about the movie. Although Nicolette Sheridan is stunning ..
Jennifer Loizzo As always, when it comes to movies based on novels, the book was so much better. Had they actually followed the book and used actors that actually looked like the characters (sans for Gino, Carrie, Lenny and Eden), the movie would have been phenomenal. Damned Hollywood, ruining things as usual.
Where's Bobby's father? How come nobody called him or doesn't he care about his son? I know he doesn't really care about Olympia. This was good to watch again. I saw the mini series on TV, Jackie is a great writer.
