- Oh, boy. This reaction had me speechless! Why do horror movies like Hereditary and Midsommar always gotta have some nude cult members frolicking around? I had a good ol' time though.
16:47 when they show this part but profile view, where it shows them all from the side, Dani’s sister’s gas masked face is hidden in the leaves in the trees behind her

Good video! 👌👌 and OMG when i watched Midsommar in theaters with my college friends, 2 of them needed to walk out of the theater because it was just too many disturbing moments

I watched this movie before Hereditary. It definitely brought me into a new appreciation of horror movies. And I feel like this movie did a much better job at unsettling the viewer than The Wicker Man (specifically the 2006 remake).
There is just a sense of dread throughout the entire movie
@@ambybambiboo That’s what I really love about it. The horror was real and it stuck with you. No cheap jump scares. No relying on bad CGI monsters. Even the gore wasn’t entirely unnecessary (except when the bodies were put on the grill, that was Ari getting one last groan out of the viewers lol). It was just the visceral dread and terror of the cult seeping in until you realize how it’s going to end.
First time on your channel I remember watching this movie for the first time it was creepy then I started understanding the story and I honestly think Dani's bf had it coming the way he treated her also I love the background of your room gives off spooky vibes 😊 you definitely got yourself a new subscriber
He was terribly selfish. I didn't even feel bad for him 😂 and thank you 😊
He was a very unlikable character but I don't think being a self-centered asshole is enough of a crime to warrant getting burned alive.

I hadn't ever seen this movie so I just watched it the other day to prepare for your reaction. The movie was definitely intense. I wasn't a huge fan while I was watching it but I actually liked it more after a few days of thinking about it. It was also the first film I've seen Florence Pugh in and she was really incredible.
Can't wait to see the next reaction.
It has so many things going on you definitely have to simmer in it to fully appreciate it. I love Florence. She's been great in everything I've seen her in.

When people casually observe two people being ritualistically murdered and they show no concern at all... then this movie was not one for me to watch
