Japan Travel EP.18: Wakkanai

Our original route was to follow the coast, again across the Shiretoko Peninsula, to the famous ruins of Abashiri Prison, but unfortunately strong winds and rain along the entire Okhotsk coast meant we changed our route south and after an overnight stop in Otofuke, we continued north through Daisetsuzan National Park, arriving in Hokkaido's northernmost city, Wakkanai.
