I love Mizos, Mizoram and Meghalaya, the Khasis, Nagas and so on. The North East Indian tribes are indigenous and unique in their lifestyle. It is begining to gain attention of the main land, this also comes with fear of being exploited. If I can give an overall image of the people of the North East India, they polite, loving, educated, hospitable and beautiful. Mizos for me lead the race. I believe Indian government has to do more to educate main land by introducing topics about NE in school. curriculum. Nevertheless, NE thrives despite challenges like discrimination and racism. Thanks to the professor for her research and hard work to represent Mizoram and its people. Good luck for her book.

Our MIZORAM do not have those high skyscraper nor luxury bungalow like others. We don't haven those valuable costly naturally occurring resources in our land. Doesn't produce oil nor gold. We don't have much in term of earthly wealth. But we are wealthy in our heart. We depend on each other and help one another. We are honest and harmony is our motto. We share whatever we have even if it's not plenty to everyone regardless of their ethnic. We practice the act of "Tlawmngaihna”, meaning everyone to be hospitable, kind, unselfish and helpful to others. "compelling moral force which finds expression in self-sacrifice for the service of the others." Yes, we are rich in our heart. The richness of which our world cannot give. We are one for all and all for one.
