To me there is no way that David Archuleta should have lost!!!!! I think there had to be a mix up in the voting, both named David, I think voters got screwed up!!! Compare the quality of the two voices. Archuleta's voice, his tone, his ability to deliver is beyond perfect!! He is still around, singing beautifully, great concerts, fans still love him more than ever, he has sold our concerts, fans can't get enough of him. including me!!! and I'm an old grandmother!
David Cook's fans figured it out how to vote 20-30,000 times in one call. It was some kind of computer program. Cook's fans were older and Archie's fans were younger which explains that. The next day Cook's fans were all over Yahoo bragging about what they did. You can do the math and come up with how many million Cook won by. Cook was definitely NOT the better singer.
Another brilliant performance. What a glorious voice and great talent David Archuleta has. As far as I'm concerned, he was and is the real winner of American Idol.
Simply unbelievable and completely jaw-dropping that the incredible, gorgeous, velvet-voiced, angelic, and far-superior David Archuleta lost to that growling, trashy, unshowered, totally-inferior David Cook. How utterly ridiculous.
This was an exact repetition of season 2 and Clay Aiken vs Ruben Studdard. Both were excellent but Clay clearly knocked it out but in the end Ruben was declared the winner. I never watched AI after that because even though I liked Ruben, Clay WAS the REAL winner. The same thing happened here. I have been watching these clips because I never watched AI anymore after season 2 because I knew the show was rigged. There is no way the american public could have chosen David Cook over Archie. Even David Cook conceded the competition to him. Archie WAS the real winner. Alas, the 15 minutes of fame for most of these "IDOLS" is over. Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson have lasted longer than most, but their time is limited too and I'm not a fan of their music, especially Carrie's. But David Archuleta is a stunning example of clean, decent, respectable youth that we need today!
