A consistent and true lightsaber combat system, meaning that when they clash sabers it happens sort of like in Fallen Order. So that it really feels like you are fighting someone with a lightsaber. Also, we would have many different modes in it, like podracer mode or boss battles (with the capability of using any character like Anakin, Dooku, Luke or Vader) and battle against beasts or other characters as well. Also, it would have like a dueling story mode so you can relive every duel from the movies and clone wars. With a variety of difficulty options. Every character has the ability to use force push and lift objects. They vary when it comes to combos and special moves. Also, before the battle there would be some talking between the characters, you know, some pretty good what if phrases. Forgot to mention tons of skins for most characters. If some of you say that battlefront already has this then you are wrong because in Battlefront you use characters as if they were pawns in a chess board instead of making them feel super organic. Also, you should be able to explore every planet with whomever you desire. Last, create your own character and make it so that you can choose which lightsaber combat form you want.
Lucasarts was absolute trash at the end of their life. We weren't getting good star wars games after 2007, no we were getting star wars kenect, angry birds star wars, and the absolute trash game known as force unleashed 2. They canceled KOTOR 3 in favor of a cheap mmo, and then canceled battlefront 3 for the force unleashed 2. This company can rot in hell.
I would play the battle of geonosis for hours in the republic gunship, helping the clone troopers and shooting the droids. Pretending to drop more clones into battle xD
I just enjoyed watching the clones and droids go at it in the background when on the ground. Did this for all my ps2 Star Wars games like The Revenge of the Sith game watching the space battle in the Dooku Boss battle and Utapau level lol
But for GameCube there is a cheat code that allows you to play as Protodeka and Cydon's tank. Idk if it's true or not (I have the game on PS2 and it has different cheats).

This game was awesome I loved that they tied in stuff from the Ancient Sith comics into this. It was fun trying to do the bonus objectives. The only thing that sucked was the ground combat lol.

There is a glitch on Thule moon where the game will spawn unlimited separatists tanks until the frame rate drops to 0 or the game crashes. It's on the walker mission on the moon when you destroy the sheild to the last place you go to. Hilarious stuff. Also 4 player coop was the shit. Loved that mode

I played this game when I was really young when I could barley understand what words meant and I put the difficulty on Jedi Master where I thought I was playing as a Jedi Master, let’s just say I never beat the first level and never finished the game, the memories 😂
Oh man this was probably my favorite Star Wars game I had on the gamecube. I loved in multiplayer you could capture points that would spawn npcs to fight along side you.
When I was growing up, before I started reading the novels, this was the story that held me over until episode 3. I can’t imagine how many times I played it
I still have this game. I remember playing it for the first time, seeing the clone sprites and droids on the ground fighting was pretty awesome to see. On-foot combat was bad, playing as the Clones was a lot easier than the jedi. Vehicle combat was good though. I never realized just how janky the controls are, then again, a lot of games in the early 2000s still had janky controls.

I’m not questioning the talent of E.A’s developers. Dice and Respawn have proven themselves to be immensely talented at their craft when left to their own devices. It’s *definitely* E.A itself that concerns me more. Their enthusiasm in chasing the bottom line can and have forced decisions upon its developers that leave everyone in question maddened and/or disappointed. I don’t understand why big companies sometimes seemingly go out of their way to knowingly spite what should be common sense even if they have nothing to gain from it.
All EA has produced is one decent Star Wars game (which is tied to nu-canon, which automatically docks a few points in quality), poor imitations of the beloved Battlefront series, and loads of disappointment. If Disney was smart, they would have never given EA an exclusivity license and retained the old LucasArts licensing system where practically any developer could come in and make a Star Wars game. That's why there was so many games and so many high quality games back in the day.

I remember when i was a little kid this game was VERY DIFFICULT, specially the bosses, then i remember i never finished the game, but then like 8 years later i took my old original xbox and played it again thinking now that if I was older I could beat it more easily, jokes on me, still was very difficult, but then i decided to finish the mission i could never beat and then finishing the game hoping there was more missions, then when I finally passed that UNBEATABLE LEVEL, i realized it was the end of the game, I was not mad but happy, since i could finally know the end of the game and accomplish one of my childhood goals. masterpiece of a game

Player One... there is an ACCELERATOR on those vehicles. And missiles. Also, that green arrowhead directional indicator is most helpful when you pay attention to it
It's really impressive what is in this game. All those clones and droids running around on the battlefield, the cool destruction animations, I just wish the freakin lasers were more powerful and killed faster... at least shoot faster 🤣
I recieved this game as a gift on Christmas and played it constantly until my Gamecube was stolen. Would love to see a remaster someday... even though with Lucasarts Studios gone, I wonder if it'd would even be possible...
This game gave me a love for big battles in anything. I loved the kashyyyk level where you're holding out in the village waiting for reinforcements to arrive. Something about that level just really got 10 year old me excited seeing the cruiser land from the clouds and a bunch of tanks came out to help you fight off the droids. And the AI was pretty good too, I felt that they could hold their own and I didn't exactly need to be there to help them win a small battle which I personally love. It made feel like I'm part of a battle and not have to help out every single ally unit. More often then not they seemed to be able to handle themselves really well if spider walkers weren't a part of the battle lmao
Can I also just say how annoying the droid starfighters are in this? They literally hound you and turn on a dime. Im surprised 12 year old me doesn't remember how annoying they were.
This game‘s release window is odd. The GameCube version came out first in October 2002, The PS2 version came out in December 2002, and finally the Xbox version coming out in March 2003.

You know Lucas Arts went out of business and they haven’t been new Star Wars Games they even canceled Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3, then a couple of years later Disney buys Star Wars and started to create new Star Wars Games with E.A. Sports like Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, I’m glad Disney is helping Lucasfilms to create new games of Star Wars

I’m not questioning the talent of E.A’s developers. Dice and Respawn have proven themselves to be immensely talented at their craft when left to their own devices. It’s *definitely* E.A itself that concerns me more. Their enthusiasm in chasing the bottom line can and have forced decisions upon its developers that leave everyone in question maddened and/or disappointed. I don’t understand why big companies sometimes seemingly go out of their way to knowingly spite what should be common sense even if they have nothing to gain from it.
All EA has produced is one decent Star Wars game (which is tied to nu-canon, which automatically docks a few points in quality), poor imitations of the beloved Battlefront series, and loads of disappointment. If Disney was smart, they would have never given EA an exclusivity license and retained the old LucasArts licensing system where practically any developer could come in and make a Star Wars game. That's why there was so many games and so many high quality games back in the day.

Was i the only one that played this game for Playstation 2?? I fucking loved this game back then. The memories and the nostalgia are in the high ground while i watch this video. Im hoping for a remaster but with the add of new vehicles and the melee combat system of the last jedi. What a dream.
I remember when i was a little kid this game was VERY DIFFICULT, specially the bosses, then i remember i never finished the game, but then like 8 years later i took my old original xbox and played it again thinking now that if I was older I could beat it more easily, jokes on me, still was very difficult, but then i decided to finish the mission i could never beat and then finishing the game hoping there was more missions, then when I finally passed that UNBEATABLE LEVEL, i realized it was the end of the game, I was not mad but happy, since i could finally know the end of the game and accomplish one of my childhood goals. masterpiece of a game

Player One... there is an ACCELERATOR on those vehicles. And missiles. Also, that green arrowhead directional indicator is most helpful when you pay attention to it

It's really impressive what is in this game. All those clones and droids running around on the battlefield, the cool destruction animations, I just wish the freakin lasers were more powerful and killed faster... at least shoot faster 🤣

I recieved this game as a gift on Christmas and played it constantly until my Gamecube was stolen. Would love to see a remaster someday... even though with Lucasarts Studios gone, I wonder if it'd would even be possible...

I mistakenly picked up this game instead of Battlefront 1, but I'm so happy I did. It's a hidden gem.
This game gave me a love for big battles in anything. I loved the kashyyyk level where you're holding out in the village waiting for reinforcements to arrive. Something about that level just really got 10 year old me excited seeing the cruiser land from the clouds and a bunch of tanks came out to help you fight off the droids. And the AI was pretty good too, I felt that they could hold their own and I didn't exactly need to be there to help them win a small battle which I personally love. It made feel like I'm part of a battle and not have to help out every single ally unit. More often then not they seemed to be able to handle themselves really well if spider walkers weren't a part of the battle lmao

Can I also just say how annoying the droid starfighters are in this? They literally hound you and turn on a dime. Im surprised 12 year old me doesn't remember how annoying they were.
This game‘s release window is odd.
The GameCube version came out first in October 2002, The PS2 version came out in December 2002, and finally the Xbox version coming out in March 2003.
