It's kinda disappointing that youtube didn't recommend these songs when I searched for iKON songs.

It's just crazy to me how iKON demolishes rock AND hiphop while also kills it with pop, ballads, etc. They just do it so naturally. They have this effortless swagger and energy in their tone, in their dancing, performance skills and how they carry themselves. There's this raw quality that I can only get from iKON in K-pop. From their lowkey personalities irl, juxtaposed with how explosive they can get on stage and on history books despite all odds. They don't sound the sound same. Their songs don't sound the same. They don't look the same. They're unique in literally every aspect. And yet they work so cohesively and do things so naturally and unpretentiously, that it's easy to take for granted a plethora of intangibles in their possession, like the sheer range of music they do so naturally, skillful adlibing, powerful emotional delivery to name a few. They don't artificially dramatize any of it and that's when you know they're real.

It's so creepy and at the same time amazing how YG saw their individual strengths and weaknesses, and sharpened them until they became the artists young idols idolize today. People can hate YG for putting them through concerts and survival shows, but you can't deny how such experiences brought on the showmanship and resilience the boys have today. They might not be the most popular, but they are definitely here to stay. I'm so proud of them.
