Gotta love the Canberra, Vulcan, F-111, Lightning, Nimrod..... so many to see... I am green with Envy ! That must have been super cool ! The models are wicked.... some very interesting concepts Airliners as well ! LOL The Fireball XL-5 is NUTS... I had no idea the model existed ??? all that Gerry Anderson stuff... Wicked ! Thanks for sharing... the pix with the boys is precious ! take care !
Great video Mark! It must had been a wonderful model show, so many fine models and so many real machines also! Surely an ideal place for the show. You are very lucky, here in Greece both the Air Force and the Tank museums are not open to the public!
Cheers Alexander. Real shame that your museums are not open to the public. We also have the Bovington Tank Museum, but that is a rather long drive for me.
Great video because it demonstrates what model shows are really about..... 1st.....see awesome models 2nd.....hang out with friends(new and Old) 3rd......do some shopping at the vendors. The competition should be an after-thought. Thanks for sharing. Bill.
Many thanks. the Cold War hanger is very dim unfortunately, so some of those pics are too dark, but on the whole i think it captured the feel of the show.
UKscalemodeller Ian is right mate, you would really enjoy it. Telford show is good, but having the real aircraft on hand makes this one better in my book at least.
Nice Video Mark, looks like fun for all there, all fantastic builds as well as the real Birds. Like the happy bunch at the end of the video, I wonder who they are :-)
Looks like so much fun, I'll say this there are a lot of great builders out there. We just found out that the air show we attend will be happening this year after two years of not looking forward to it so.
Cheers Alex. Thought you would like it mate, having seen the one you did from your local air base. Great museum to visit in the UK, and it is free to get in!
HI - yes, i think that may be because we are a land locked county, plus the venue is very aircraft biased. I do know what you mean though, and wonder if ships are better represented at shows nearer the coast?
Brilliant Mark! What scale were the father and son in the beginning of the vid? I know them from somewhere.... Hahahaha...shame that I am on the other side of the water....would have loved to go! Thanks for sharing mate!
great show, i love how the models look like next to the real planes and vehicles :) also, lovely bunch at the end of the video, just sitting there and drinking - where are your models? i see no glue or other tools on the tables?? you should feel ashamed :)

Bill.
spot on Bill...the competition element is a factor, but certainly not the driving one in my book.
Nice work Mark, very good quality pics.
Many thanks. the Cold War hanger is very dim unfortunately, so some of those pics are too dark, but on the whole i think it captured the feel of the show.

Nice video. I see what you meant about that roof.
that was just a bog stand side view, but the building inside and out is really interesting and well thought out.
Wow you got a bonus of really nice full scale models aswell. Do you know the name of the seaplane at 1:58.
It is a great place to visit for sure. I am not an aircraft guy but i believe it is a Catalina mate
Some nice builds in there Mark, thanks for sharing. What happened with the maritime scene :( which seems to be lacking in many shows :(

Yea it is certainly one for the calendar each year Cees.....last year's seemed a bit bigger to be fair, but even so it was a good day out.
