I was at this ritual! I cracked up when Papa forgot the words. No disrespect; unscripted goofs and accidents are part of what make live performances special. 10/10 would kiss Satan's anus again.
Got to hand it to Tobias Forge. Clever guy totally rebranding guitar music. He's got his stage craft down perfectly and found awesome musicians to reproduce the album sound live.
Papa is a legend immortal in the eyes of men and metal. Dont bet the farm on him ever hanging up the mic cause his vocals are spot on... loyal fan forever.. ghost changed my views on music and how it's supposed to be presented to the audience..they are A+ performers.
I had a feeling they'd throw this in late tour. They didn't do it in Tucson earlier in tour. Seems like they still struggle with this one on the road (lyrics, harmonies, range). Hope to see it polished up and be a standard song on the next go round, it's one of my favorites on the album.
They didn't play it at the Huntsville Alabama ritual either and I was hopeful that they would have played it. But, for what they didn't play, I damn sure enjoyed what they did!
I just started listening to Ghost in September of 2022, if only I knew about this band before then I would of been here. 😭 I live in Illinois and knowing they were here not too long ago in the US makes me sad cause I want to see them live so bad.
@@Hazy_Ghoulette From what I understand, it will be a massive tour in the US rather than separate legs so that Ghost can tour the entire world and hit places that they have never been to. At least that is what I understand Tobias to say in an interview that I read.
I’ve been watching performances of this song from different tour dates. Papa is still working on it, I think it’s probably hard to practice on the road. He is trying to find his footing, he’s getting better, I hear jumble lyrics every now and again.
I was so sad to miss thsi concert last year in my home town of Peoria! We did go see them in Milwaukee last weekend though, and it was amazing. But I was sad they didn't play Griftwood there. :(
I looove this song but omg something about it made me feel like I was having a stroke the first few times I tried to sing it 😂 the lyrics aren't hard but for some reason the brain wants to swap up verses. Kudos to him! Also it's still fairly new for them to perform this one. I love that he just went with it ❤🤷♀️😁
This was an awesome show. Well worth the wait. I had so much fun on the floor. I was at the Feb show at the Allstate and this one far exceeded that one.
WTF !!? They didn't play that one for us in San Diego, 4 weeks prior to this show..... I was really waiting for that one and Respite on the Spitalfields. Apart from forgotten lyrics, they need to work on the choir parts - those were clearly off here

Where at? Me too!!
Impera is such a good album on so many levels. Really hard to pull off some of the epic songs live... especially vocally

Yeah, I forgot the lyrics again...oh well.
I don't know why but out of all the songs ghost has released, to me this one feels the most like Papa is leading his flock in worship.
0:22 suffer is the lorddhshf is an easy thing
Yeaahhh... it happens 🤷♀️ He recovered quickly though!
Impera is a FLAWLESS album! Its perfect!

Definitely a Def Leppard influence in this song and album Rock on..

Went to the Tuscon show as well, traveling all the way from Colorado! It was a great show, but yeah, it would have been cool if they played this one.
Sounds like Def Leppard

Don't lose hope!! There's been a lot of talk of them doing another US tour in 2023!! 🤞🤞🤞
@@Hazy_Ghoulette I keep hearing about it too and I hope it’s true!
As soon as I hear that they’re coming to Chicago I’m buying a ticket

Impera is such a great album
Their albums just keep getting better!

A brilliant song. Among many brilliant songs Ghost has produced ..
I was there too! I was so surprised when I heard the song start.
love this band, they are top notch
A showman right there
Absolutely awesome concert. I was supposed to see them in February. Got in an accident and missed my chance. So glad they returned. Thank you.
I saw them in Toronto, I think the second time they ever played it live, and first time with just the touring band. Sounded great there imo.

Thank you for posting a ghost video
Interesting to see someone’s work in progress.

I was there. awesome time
Impera tour here on Brazil plzzz ❤️❤️❤️
suffering is such a mmmmmmmh thing
Great song, Too bad it was not played when i saw them in Atlanta
😍
🔥🔥🙌
🤘🏻
How do you not love him?
Tempo here seems a bit slower than the recording... still, great live band!
I agree. It felt just a tad sluggish. But I was so excited they were doing it live, I didn't care! ☺
@@Hazy_Ghoulette It's the hardest guitar solo on the record as well!
for you there is no sound in the video??
Not working live for me
Great song politics aside.
He sounds weird live
Love Ghost , but i dont get the appeal of this song or Twenties
This one is one of my favorite songs.
The new album is like that, half the songs are great, the other half of songs are pretty meh
It just depends on the person. I personally love both songs but I can see both sides
I love Twenties
I don’t really like twenties either. But this one is a banger
Awesome the hometown of Richard Pryor!
