  • Mazda launched the 3 over a year ago but it has not been the most well received model. Chief reason being, it is priced way more than its rivals yet does not offer more for it. Or does it? I test the cheapest variant to find out if it is more car than its rivals and if Mazda can justify the price.

I have both Civic FC TCP and Mazda 3 1.5 Liftback at home. Agree with your review. This Mazda 3 with stock tires drives better than Civic with Michelin PS4. I can say Mazda's torsion beam is better than civic's multilink. Nice review bro. Keep it up!

Superb review as always bro..yes i agree with all u said..u need to test drive it 1st..the gearbox is just briliant..its not the best la but far far better than any other cvt's out there..that for sure..speed is not everything in driving pleasure..for me agility and engagement between u n the car is more fun..jinba ittai..but still how good it is..1.5l for 140k..not justified..sorry..owned 2017 cx3(2.0l 120k) n still love it till now

Bro, I guess the best handling in the C segment should be the new Corolla that built using TNGA platform with double wishbone suspension.
Hope can see review on the new updated 2020 Corolla.

price diff is because honda is CKD and mazda is CBU. Malaysian tax results in CBU being more expensive.

Parking sensors. Why did they leave that out? You know how convenient it is to parallel park, to move around tight spaces in the city without scratching you beautiful car with all around parking sensors. People might find the constant beeps annoying... But I'd rather have that peace of mind

Mazda is expensive because it is the CBU model

But.... civic with tein suspension and Michelin tires make alot of difference....
Handling can be improvised easily but power output not.

I drove my friends 2.0 mazda 3. Somehow i am not impressed. So i cant imagine how the 1.5 can be so impressive. Nevertheless thats my view. I think its way overpriced.
