Well, put it this way... this album and the one prior to that were released in Sept. both years. 9/2014 and 9/2015, so I'm expecting the next project to be released sometime this month!

I'm not a doctor but I guess when you listen to calm music, it slows your breathing down a little bit. Slow breathing patterns will make you fall asleep after a while. Also the bass might play a big role in it. My theory anyways.

This is a very strange correlation; literally was searching Vanilla Sky as I felt the urge to watch it, and this album randomly autoplayed next (I had UA-cam on in the background as I was initially studying...) then I happened to read your comment. Wtf?
There is something deeply respectable about this album. I'm usually into all things electronic, but this just satisfies another musical taste for me. It's an awesome use of samples, and at times it resembles more modern RnB without the vocals - and in my opinion the lack of vocals (besides the samples) give it something extra, as you tend to focus more on the individual melodical segments. And all in all, it's very cinematic - I drove down an autumnous hill during sunset listening to this, and it felt really special. Like, cheesily special; it was truly out of some artsy film.
And if nothing else, the whole album is worth it just for "Dreamcatcher" and "All In My Mind", in my opinion.
It's called "Progressive" music.

This album holds a particular place in my "memory palace". I would play this whole album on repeat while working on teaching coursework. In my mind, if I got it done in the span of only one listen, I wasn't putting enough thought into what I'm passionate about. Kind of intense to think back to where I was back then when I hear Dreamcatcher start...
Found this music while in Scotland for a karate tournament. The tournament results did not go in my favor, however i discovered this tasty album and it has been the soundtrack for my comeback ever since!!

Summer has to be my favorite. I just love everything about it! Especially the drums and strings at about 25:15
I used to bike to work from north Philly to south street at 6am to open the tiny sandwich shop I worked in. This was the soundtrack to many of those early morning rides and those are still some of my favorite memories. ❤

Tycho's sweet, but he doesn't have a patent on 80s style circle logos that look like the Sun or a planet. AT&T and Minolta kinda beat them to the punch, and the striping effect is in use everywhere.
