Fantastic video. Thanks for taking the time to create it. I have this exact same kit and first used it this morning. It does a great job. I did need to use a microfibre cloth to tidy round the edges and corners of the windows, but that's hardly an issue for me. All in all, a great buy. Cheers.

I just registered my new window vac but it is a bit of a palaver having to take the machine apart to find the product number and serial number which are not clearly marked. I had to get my reading glasses and a torch to see these numbers. I think Karcher need to think about people with disabilities, people should not have to jump through hoops to find the details to register the products. I hope the product lives up to expectations now.
This guy seems an absolute sweetheart. Lucky wife that he cleans (unless he's a pedantic cleanfreak of course, in which case, poor wife). Anyway, I found this video helpful and given my eyesight is poor, I watched this as opposee to reading the instructions.
I've just tried mine... multiple steaks and the thing drips every once in a while. Took me ages to clean one window and had to finish with a cloth (then again my windows were not as clean as yours in the first place). I think there's a typo on the packing: instead of " 3x faster, no steaks and no drips" it should read "3x faster? No, steaks! and no, drips!"
Try changing the cleaning solution. I found that using fairy liquid in water gave the best results when cleaning windows (it is also much cheaper than the karcher liquid). There is a video on my channel showing how I tested different solutions.

Thanks Heidi. I'm sorry but I wasn't aware that the WV2 now comes with different coloured squeegees so can't comment on the difference between them. Hopefully someone better informed will see this and let us know 🙂

Hi Fatima, a couple of things you could try are making sure that you don't clean the windows in direct sunlight (the solution dries too quickly and leaves streaks) and making sure you use plenty of liquid (the rubber shouldn't squeak when you run it over the glass). I'm hoping to have a look at using different cleaning solutions with the Karcher to see if this could help as well. 🙂
I've not timed the battery but I've not had a problem with it going flat. I can do the whole house on a single charge. I'm currently using the karcher window cleaning concentrate. You dilute it so it doesn't work out that expensive. I'm intending to post a video on alternatives soon.

It's underneath the water tank. Take the suction head off by pressing down the black tabs on each side and lifting. Then pull the water tank out. There should be a silver label under the tank. The serial number of electrical items is normally on the box as well but I threw my box away ages ago so can't confirm this.
I've not used the window vac long enough to run the battery flat. It can clean all of the windows in my 3 bedroom house on a single charge. I just top it up from there.

Yes, it works well in the kitchen to clear up spills. Should be OK for cleaning the worktops down as well.

How long does the battery last for mate? Also are you just using normal dishwash detergent? Cheers
