As someone who never liked Billie Lee, she is bringing more to VPR right now than the producers did all season. You keep saying you don't care, and ask who cares? I care 🤣 I am here for it. I'm tired of seeing Sandoval get a princess edit redemption arc, I hope that he and his drunk paid PR girlfriend implode and we get to see it all via these podcasts. I don't need Bravo for a better version of VPR 😆

I’m a few days late listening because the internet made me scared to even finish the finale, but I am so glad - as always - to find turtle time to be a safe place for nuance. Thanks for all the laughs! So many little quips, I wish I could quote them all 😂
The thing is, she explained how hurt she was by Austin and that was made clear to West why her boundaries were up. He even commented on how he respected how hurt she was by that experience, and in the end he bulldozed over all of that false compassion. How many times does a woman have to say it plain as day and yet the guy gets away with 'it just didn't work out'?!
Thank you!!!! I felt like I was the only one who felt this way!!! I don't understand how people can't see this. Also she says on the first part of the reunion that she tried to give him an out after cameras went down on their horseback riding date... and he wouldn't take it and at that point she was very clear about things. He got what he wanted 😏

Carl shouldn't have signed a legally binding lease if he didn't intend on fulfilling it. I'm with Lindsey on that part. I feel like 9 months is a bit long maybe like 4 months so she can figure something else out but he was legally bound to pay it. Don't sign a document if you're not prepared to fulfill the requirements.
TBF he signed as a resident. Like they said, he could have stayed there since he was legally a resident. But he didn’t, he did the right thing and moved out. I think he should get some credit for that.
If the roles were reversed and a woman was leaving a relationship and the man made him pay rent when she felt obliged to leave an unhealthy situation people would feel differently.

You should have done more research before you commented on the Captain Lee Carl story, because Carl was given every opportunity to direct the way the interview went, and his publicist was there. He then went out in public, and said, scathing remarks about how he was used, which is what upset Captain Lee not that he didn’t get the interview, but that carl, somebody he cared about said such nasty things.

So, don’t comment on things if you know nothing about it. Captain Lee said explicitly that he gave Karl 100% control over what questions were asked and answered. Captain Lee said that Karl was erratic and aggressive.

This must be your first episode of Turtle Time so you may not know Amy and Riley are not chronically online people. While they comment and mention things that happen off season off camera it’s sheerly to keep us little turtle cuties in the general know. Your comment was also cvnty btw
Riley is speaking as if what he is saying is fact and it’s not. that’s called misleading people. has nothing to do with being chronically on or offline. Riley clearly saw what Capt Lee said ONLINE and then misconstrued it completely. if they don’t know the facts, they shouldn’t be speaking on it. that’s called being an adult person who doesn’t want to mislead people - especially the very people who stream their content and trust them to at least be accurate. this isn’t the first time they’ve done this. its 2024 if you’re going to put something on the internet that’s untrue you should get called out for it. it’s not rude. it’s being held accountable.

Riley is making it sound like Capt Lee is “salty he didn’t get what he wanted” when Capt Lee is actually upset with the way Carl went about it. Carl was rude and unprofessional. Carl has a pattern of committing to things and then suddenly gets heated and needs out immediately. Carl is a grown man. It doesn’t matter how chaotic Bravocon was, he agreed to do a postcard with his good friend who offered to cut anything Carl wanted and then he got scared and lashed out.
shouldn’t we expect podcasts like these to provide accurate information without bias? the only way to be unbiased is to look at all sides and this podcast DOES NOT do that.

++ great episode. My opinion on Carl/Lindsay situation is evolving so waiting for the last reunion epi. BUT I see what you’re saying.. also the Wes commentary was spot on. He will bounce back but he definitely was preparing us in his interview for how bad the reunion was gonna be for him. Love you guys!

Are you guys friends with Carl or something? Not a Lindsay fan but the Carl cope is outstanding.
Why would he sign a lease one month before breaking up with Lindsay if it wasn't a blindside. Obviously things were good enough to sign for 9 months. Also, since Carl surprised her with the break-up (yes, calling off a wedding is 1000% grounds for a break-up) then he should pay for half the rent AND considering Lindsay paid for all thr wedding bookings he should pay the cancelation fees. She gave him back the ring so there is the money right there to help with the fees and/or the rent. Carl is just as devious and manipulative as Lindsay, he definitely should not be getting any passes.

Ummm at the time Lindsay didn’t want to cancel the wedding. He signed the lease 2 weeks bf HE canceled. Yes, he should’ve taken care of it. I’ll give him credit for being stand up doing that, but no way should Lindsay get stuck with it. I’m not a Lindsay fan, either.

Omg do you guys want Carl to die??? It’s okay for Amy and Riley to have a different opinion and perspective on this show. Also- we as a collective have watched maybe 10 hours of Carl this season. To sound so sure is nuts. It’s just a show !!!!! We will never know the full truth and we don’t have to act like we do.
“only leave a review if it’s going to be positive. if you have negative feedback wait 6 months before leaving a review” is a bonkers way to end a podcast episode. friendly reminder- you are earning a profit off of providing a service which requires you to make improvements if you want that profit to continue. if your feelings are getting hurt from every comment asking you to please be accurate when you’re doing recaps, rather than using that energy to take better notes and research accurately/ in an way that isn’t bias. read more than one article. look at situations from more than one POV. this is a silly topic but you’re perpetuating the bigger issue of divisiveness in 2024.
