- This week we are joined by our old mate & HP cast member Alfie Enoch.
After playing Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter films Alfie went on to star in Shonda Rhimes’ hit show How to Get Away with Murder alongside the great Viola Davis.
We reminisce about our time winding each other up on set, find out how Alfie got the part of Dean Thomas even though he didn’t audition and learn why he faked his accent for a whole year.

Alfie’s American accent was so good in How to Get Away with Murder that I couldn’t believe he was Dean Thomas from Harry Potter. I thought he looked so much like him, but he was American and Dean was English, so I didn’t think they could be the same person.

I loved hearing Alfie's experience with being 11 years old and wanting to be an actor because I'm 11 years old and I really want to be an actor. And it also gives me confidence with achieving this goal after seeing that Alfie achieved it at the same age I am.
This was definitely my favourite episode. The way the laughed throughout the whole thing, the way it showed how they genuinely like each other and had an amazing time, it was contagious and it made my day. Thank you so much!

At my elementary school, and even a few years into high school I think, we had something at the beginning of our English classes called “silent reading”. Much like what Oliver was saying, we would bring a book with us to class everyday (likely whatever we had picked from the library at the beginning of the year), and would read it silently for the first 20 or so minutes of class, and I always liked English so it was one of my fav things :))
He is so funny!!! I smiled and giggled the whole time. Thanks for letting us get to know him better guys 🤍 such 3 special men together 🌞

Yes!!! Alfie is so right about english speaking people. Some always expect everyone to speak their language, even though they are in a country where people speak a whole different one. And I get it, English is the most spoken language in the world but that doesn't mean that everyone speaks it or should speak it.
