- The Michael Fuchs 87a DIY mic circuit is a phenomenal project where you can build your own killer version of the Neumann u87ai for Voice Over. This is my second Fuchs build.

That's a wonderful sound. Very clear but also inviting and warm. Nice low end!
Exactly! That’s what I love about the Fuchs 87a. It’s just all there for VO.
ah man love to purchase this off you, eyesight is not good enough to build it, sounds superb
Glad you like it but it’s not for sale and I fear Fuchs may have run out of boards.
Gahh! Your beard! Sideburn over-buzz, yep. Done that before. Haha. That mic sounds insane! Listen to that top end sizzle! I can hear the iron, man! Great video!
Right. Usually the transformer is like, “Feel me, don’t see me.” And this UTM 5087 is like, “DADDY’S HOME!”
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff hahahaha!
Sounds surprisingly like a Neumann to me with my studio headphones on. I'm impressed
The headbasket being the right size makes so much difference here in achieving that tone.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff Thanks for demystifying the components that go into a great microphone for us less technically savvy folks
Nice mic, young man!
Us kids in the younger generation appreciate your support.

Hey! Do u know about BeiFeiLi V7? Is it similar with V5?
Different capsule. Different sound. Probably somewhere in between v10 and v47.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff ty, then, i would buy v5
118 -119 hz, pretty close guess!
