I was sooo worried for some reason she wouldn't make it.. but I think she will!! Shes truly unmatched when it comes to her high notes!!
I was so surprised they kept Riku a secret from us until this episode, it took them so long to introduce her when she has such a nice voice!!!! and karate lol
and Nina's performance!!!!!!! She was so good, truly blew me away🥰

So by now you see that during boot camp they show regional auditions which weren't shown before. I've been waiting for your reaction to this episode with Riku and Nina. It's best when JYP has no clue what to expect. When Riku flipped a switch and went into karate mode, then sang a most tender song. And for a while it seemed like Nina was really down, but then she delivered such a powerful performance. Thank you for doing these reactions, I appreciate being able to rewatch this series vicariously.

@@SerenityReacts lol I thought about that after submitting the comment as well. but it's one of the last times (2nd to last?) she does a whole song by herself. I'm not saying best, it's just my favorite to date.

@@SerenityReacts I think everyone can see that she puts a smile in your face. watching Nizi, you'll get a feeling of how JYP thinks and how he tries to bring out the best from each contestant in different ways based on where they are in level/age/maturity. ways he feels can motivate/push/help them to get there. And yes there's cultural differences between asian (nizi) and american (a2k). even being less harsh to the a2k girls, he's getting a backlash from social. imagine if he had the same attitude you see in Nizi with A2K. People would be going for his head.
Its so good coz of her failure in dancing added some emotion to her singing for me it s also my favorite.

the performances are cut here in the episodes, in the 2nd part they are also cut, they only show a short part, you can find the whole performances, if you are curious of course, they are uploadded on youtube separately
@Motherserenity, If you want to undergo an editing exercise, you could jump back and forth between the official channel’s videos for the non-performance parts and over to the uncut versions for the performance. I do caution against seeking out the full-length fan-subbed show elsewhere on the internet, because those translations are all kinds of wonky, with either timing issues and/or clunkily literal, un-idiomatic translations.
