- How do I get myself and my circus to keep counters empty so they are easier to clean?

Usually we keep what we do use on the counters Ans store what we are not ready to let go of in our drawers.
So Step one you have to push past that part of the brain that says we spent money on something so now we have to keep it, forever.
It’s so hard! (But in this case, chances are it’s dried up or expired so that makes letting go easier)
It’s rare to have all the space to store everything. usually we only have the space to store what we need to store. That’s not a bad thing!
so if we want empty counters, we have to make our storage work for us by only storing what we need and use, in organization equipment designed to maximize our space which will give way to empty counters!
No two, getting the family to follow suit is way more realistic if everything has an easy to access place in a drawer or cabinet. So the right organization equipment really helps here too!
It’s going to be a practice makes progress kind of situation, but there will be some life skills learned along the way.
