Their new album is fucking awesome, they are one of those bands that are worth listening to every damn second of every song, greetings from Mexico City 🇲🇽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🫶🏽🎶🎶🎶🎶🫶🏽🫶🏽🤘🏽🤘
In light of the AILD's second lineup falling apart, I checked out the new OHOH record to see how they were doing this morning. And...well...not good. Not a big fan of either band, and both have had their troubles for very different reasons, but the music was really well done. We won't get to hear any of it live.
For me this band has one big problem: The choruses are always the same. Go to a random song of this album and listen to its chorus. It will be clean, whiny with the same long notes and same harmonics. It will basically be the same chorus with even the same rhythm change. It literally ruins everything. The verses + breakdowns + bridges are sometimes so well made, so different and refreshing. It sets a high level and then the ultra generic pop chorus sets in with a ultra generic text and ruins everything.
Tobias is our hollow our home, Tobias is also the weakest link. No one is allowed to outshine him, so the band no longer exists. Egos are a well known fact why great music doesn't get made.
1 day after the album's release it comes out that this band is breaking up for good. I've stuck with this band through some of the crack that they have supported which was something that was completely against the morals and values of my country in the form of black lives matter and their murder spree they went on and their domestic terrorist Spree that they had went on. I was here when the band had the original line up go. Only to find out that Tobias is the problem and then we get to this and 20 4:00 after the damn album is released we find out that Tobias is the problem one more time. Killing this band will forever haunt Tobias because everybody has spoken out against him and he will no longer be able to find people to make bands with or to create new albums with. And the worst freaking part about it is this album is so damn good and everybody that came in for the new line up this time just killed it. I was not able to really get into the heavies and the screams and then I started listening more and really like them. Congratulations to vice you decided to kill off one of the best metal core bands around and you as a human being have failed and my honest God opinion from all the stories from your former band mates that I have read up on. RIP OHOH.

The new band members really brought this band to the next level. This is the best thing theyve ever done and its such a shame what transpired.
What exactly happened? I could never find a straight answer. All i know is they're breaking up. It's so shitty cause this was incredible.

The clean vocals take so much away from every single song 😩 they worked in old OHOH but just don’t work with Gazs vocals for me ☹️
