I love how straight forward your tutorials are Mikey, I'm at a point in my riding now where your tutorials are really helpful. I've learned the basics and now I'm to a point of learning more handbrake and moving around on the bike. I feel most comfortable in staggered and knee knocker. When I was first learning to wheelie, I started with sit downs and struggled a lot with balance so naturally I moved to stand up and progressed pretty quickly. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I am definitely getting help from "tricks of the trade" it's helping me progress and I appreciate it man. Looking forward to more, thanks bro.

I'm stuck on these, tried jumping to staggered the other day tipped my bike on its side, 905 racing sub frame trashed on me an my oem rear set cracked, waiting on upgrade and 905 to warranty the sub cage, down for awhile, so keep em coming!!

Would you recommend raising the idle to help learn foot drags on a Grom,I'm having a hell of time getting to BP on it

On a sitdown? I don’t like to mess with the idle on Groms they run weird when you do. Scoot ur butt half way off the seat and bring the wheel taller and you will touch. The taller the wheel the closet the back of the bike is to the ground 🤘🏻

Im curious what your opinion on "brake fade" is or isnt.

The brake can give out but it’s caused by over heating your brake or not having it properly bled. Either way it’s the riders fault and not an excuse.

Man Ive been learning for like 3 months on my stock 2016 CBR1000
I can chase a wheelie between 3-4football fields pretty consistently (I do the math and count the stripes on the road in my footage lol)
But I never leg-hug my tank anymore …i feel it forces me to have to wheelie faster,. I sit in the middle of the seat like basically taking my nuts off the tank lol…
And when I come up gravity will politely slide my backbone to the passenger seat .. I feel that’s the best way for me … I got a little higher before I hit balance point though….
I’m sure by my 1 year mark I’ll be a whole lot better

Keep practice bro you got it! Combo Kids have a good how to wheelie tutorial. Hugging the tank is for style points lol. While your learning do what’s most comfy 🤘🏻
