Don't worry it has nothing to do with feeling proud for your country it has to do with them making music. this does not make your country look bad. Many Americans still make this style of music. NYC, California, Chicago still like lots of styles of music and cultures. Bianca is also one of my favorites. especially Бьянка - Про лето (Bianca - About Summer) She's so damn sexy :)

The question is, do you mean good russian music that's popular today, good classical music, or music in cartoons/films?
Then there's the various dialects labeled as russian music...
I suggest checking out russia's entries in eurovision for whatever time period you want and go from there. It'll take work, but that's the best way imo.

I'm not trying to be a jerk and I'm really trying to help, but the word I believe you meant to use was "asinine". The word you used [assassin] is the hired killer lol. I agree with you too by the way.

    - We are pages of different books, we are heroes of different years. But to correct this moment for me obstacles are not present, - Karina Koks sings. In general, song about love.

Search for songs by Philip Kirkorov; Alla Pugacheva; Sofia Rotaru. These are old timers who make decent music. But there really are too many to recomend. Search for Russian music on internet you should be able to find good stuff.

Thats because you are unfamiliar with European music in general. Russains have great music. Unfortunatly most Americans are unaware of this.

Не верится даже, что это было 10 лет назад. Тогда девичьи группы были лучше нынешних поющих трусов с аморфными песнями и плохими внешними данными. У Сливок задор есть и внешне симпатичные девушки.

i can't believe i am going in an argument for this... it doesn't matter... and some russian girls who are actually born and raised in russia that i know have these lke french, curious names, one is called Amelie and her sister is called Brenda ok? i mean those are as much russian names as saying that Jane is an italian name ok? so you can't judge for the name... and for the represantion... i think black people are a part of russia so i mean... why bother

Russia is really lacking in the modern music department. I watched a concert in Saint Petersburg, and one of the singers was an American rapper who had been washed out since the late 1980's.
