How much do you weigh? I'm 255 lbs. and thinking of buying this for my every day commute. Plus I bring a macbook pro and at least 1 liter of water too.
Geekanoids Agreed! Great concise, accurate and fun video! I could see you on a pro model though! I'll be upgrading my classic model for a pro soon I hope! And getting the wife a sport.
As a person who is brain damaged due to Cancer, consequently unable to ever safely drive a car, but travel everywhere using public transit and/or walking; the URB-E could revolutionize my life, theoretically (Can I ride a bike to begin with?)..
Alexander Ten Sort of. I actually got a suitcase trailer for mine that I can pack it inside and check. I haven't actually traveled on a flight with it yet, but the urb-e team takes them to the gate and checks them there like you would a stroller or wheelchair. See my trailer vids.
MatafiedGaming Quite the opposite! With all the accessories and customization, it is fantastic. I dedicated a channel to it, I like mine so much. Ride it to work daily.
Don't listen to nosurbe he is a wannabe Urbe specialist. He wants fame and is an attention seeker check out the 30mph urbe video he made just for click bate
Leo Landon Leo! hi there! Nice to hear from you again. actually, it was a 28mph and a 57mph video, in which both videos i did technically reach those speeds. but thanks for watching and mentioning me! I'm no pro, just a big fan that wants to push this segment to the limit and share that with others. you'll understand when you get older.
Well those small wheels are ridiculous. It wouldnt work on the cobblestone streets of my hometown of Prague :-( i bought the monowheel for the same price.
Jan Markovič The pro model is for you then! Mono wheel on cobblestone? I could barely ride one over a small sidewalk lip. Plus, I'd hate to have to stand for even a short ride over rough roads.
Justin Payne Correction, they have cheap knockoffs that last a month. I'm about to review the cheapest on my channel and I may have already broken it. I beat the life out of my urb-e and it's taking it like a champ. That's the difference in quality materials and built in the USA!
This is another example of the infantilization of America. What a piece of crap! This should be scaled down and offered to little rich kids, exclusively. You'd never catch a Marine on one of these, Soldier Know Best!
I'm comparing it to my need for and my usefulness of the product. How far does that battery take you. Maybe in certain city locations when you live near a lot of shops but other than that I don't see how useful it is....Lower the price and I bet I can think of some things to do with it.
TmanTroy well even the cheapest Chinese knock offs aren't that cheap. perhaps keep an eye out for some used URB-E possibilities. at least the URB-E will last long enough to be second hand.
Just no. This has gone too far. This is absolutely stupid. I thought it went far enough with that stupid tech plant growing phone app thing. But no, now there's this? Kill me.
Johnny Partain This is really good for people living in the city or someone that works at a job no more then 10 miles. Instead of firing up your car each time just buy this and save a ton of money
I agree we have to get these cars off the morning commute. We would all be so much happier without the roadways filled with large SUV's with one person on board.Leave the SUV for the weekends with family.Change is good.Enclosed motorcycles,3/4 wheeled narrow track vehicles [ commuter vehicles ] could help us wean ourselves off the oil and make our lives so much better. They can be just as comfortable at a fraction of the size .
I'd be all in if it had the 10" air tires. I need to ride off sidewalk ledges from time to time in Vegas....where I live.
Thanks for actually getting into the specs and pricing and stuff.

Great review

Well that's backwards lol
Ride that thing in downtown STL?? 😂😂😂
This bike battery has more USB ports than a Mac Book Pro..
Ruslan Sirota
Lol! But that's not saying much! Really cool battery design though. Can't wait to try it out.
NoS URB-E oh the battery is great. The irony was at the mac book pro 🙂

I could use that
Hate a commercial at beginning of podcast. Put at end.
Escrocs? Après 2 ans 1/2 mon Urb-E n'est toujours pas livré!!!!!!
toujours pas ? je suis tenté d'en acheter un !
Eh, they have these in china for way cheaper.

Way over priced
TmanTroy
$899 is really good for this level quality. What are you comparing to?

TmanTroy
got it. so by overpriced you mean too expensive for your needs. not for what it is.
A little of both but mainly for my needs. $500 tops.

And that is exactly what I do! It's not for everyone, but it could be. It also is great on road trips or camping or just as a fun ride.
