Wales TUC: Unions and the World of Work

Understanding the role of unions in the workplace is extremely important for young people as they embark on their working lives. 
Young workers are more likely to be in insecure work, in low paid jobs and without opportunities to progress at work than any other age group.
To help tackle this, trade unions have worked in social partnership with the Welsh Government to develop the new Unions and the World of Work programme.
Schools can use Wales TUC resources to teach about trade unions and can request a volunteer visit to their school.
