      Check Adi Teman "RTL to GDS" series. Synthesis videos in that series are pretty good.

      The class of software used to design chips is called EDA (Electronic Design Automation), and there are at least a hundred companies in the U.S. offering EDA packages for every need. Two of the most famous are Synopsys and Cadence Design, and the latter has an office and a design team in Bangalore. India does not manufacture modern chips but is fast catching up in chip design.

      There are no slides but transcripts of the lecture are available. Search in Google for "nptel vlsi physical design."
