The class of software used to design chips is called EDA (Electronic Design Automation), and there are at least a hundred companies in the U.S. offering EDA packages for every need. Two of the most famous are Synopsys and Cadence Design, and the latter has an office and a design team in Bangalore. India does not manufacture modern chips but is fast catching up in chip design.
Thank you so much your teaching style is awesome. Everyone can easily understood
Had to review my notebook for some basic layout rules and how they make sense structurally. Great start!
Thank you Dr. Indranil Sengupta. You clearly explain concepts from scratch and take lot of efforts while conducting your lecture
I didn't realised its 5yrold vid until i saw 14nm. :(
@@nityanand_ true that.. now i believe it is in 2nm- technology rite
@@Narennmallya not sure about on which node are they on R&D, but i saw 5nm being available for use to vendors
@@nityanand_ lol, tsmc has now begun manufacturing of 1.4nm
how time flies ..
Thank you Prof. Indranil Sengupta, the lecture is very brief and gave an overall idea of vlsi design flow.
very detailed lecture, thank you sir
Thanks a lot for the lectures and really next generation students are to have these lectures...
This playlist covers PD from floorplan till signoff. Can anyone suggest a lecture series for synthesis and optimization.
Check Adi Teman "RTL to GDS" series. Synthesis videos in that series are pretty good.
I also want to know... Someone pls 🙏
Thank you professor
Thank you sir
Nicz explanation thanku sir
What are the pre-requisites of the course
10 vi pass hona cahiye😂
This will definitely solve all confusions coming out of graduation .
