Hi SD,
I absolutely love this. I did not see how the box was made. Could you detail that? Also if you were to sell that project, how much would you charge for that?
Once again it I love, love , love that gift.
$40-$50 . Cut a hole in center of shoebox. Wrap in red or matching tissue. Wrap like you would a present. Hot glue foam in center. Pics stick in foam.
So cute.. love the idea using the signs. How much candy did you use and how many flowers to fill the truck? Was tissue cut in a certain size?
I used 3 packages of candy. 10-12 in package . I had 3 bouquets of flowers, 1- pink, 1-white and 1- greenery. You can use less depending on how full you want your arrangement. Cut squares 5×5. I followed the fold in paper.
You are so creative!!! How much would you charge for an arrangement like this??
I usually take the cost of items and multiply by 2. That is if I can get items on sale or near wholesale price. A second formula is if you have to buy full price take cost of items and add what you want to be paid hourly. C+2hours(10.00). If I had 20 in cost and 2 hours labor, I would charge 40.00. That usually gives a competitive price. You can raise or lower it depending on market. Prices have increased since I did this DIY. This arrangement now about $40-$50.
So you glued two foam together and then to the center of the box?
Yes. Cut hole in lid the width of foam. Add glue to the bottom of foam and push it thru lid. It should attach firmly to bottom. You can stack them if you need it higher.
Do you know the cost involved in making one?
I spent around $15-$20. I got most of items from Dollar Tree.
