DURIAN from SAMLOT DISTRICT in BATTAMBANG PROVINCE

It's early season of Durians in Cambodia. The price is a little expensive at some places through out Cambodia. My wife bought Munthong Durian from Kampong Cham Province in Phnom Penh city first week of May is 27,000riel (USD 6.75) per kilogram. We came to Samlot District, a Durian Stall (small house about 10km from Samlot downtown) Munthong Durian is 18,000riel (USD 4.50) per kilogram. We visit a Durian Plantation at Samlot, it's 20,000riel (USD 5) per kilogram. We like Munthong Durian, it's sweet and tasty. It might be smelly for some of you but it's the best, it's the king of fruits and it's Asian's favorite fruit. It's my favorite fruit. I eat a lot during Durian season but still want to eat more...
