Cam Rising is an excellent quarterback. There's not a whole lot that he can't do and if it wasn't for a guy named Alex Smith, Cam Rising would probably be considered the greatest Utah quarterback of all time. If he comes back for another year, I look forward to it.

That's a BYU thing too, not Utah. The U of U's student body is only ≈25% active Mormons and they tend to be of the much more "chill, worldly, and accepting" variety compared to those that go to BYU (whose student body is >≈99% Mormon & >≈85-90% active believers).

The actual metro-Provo urban area otoh is a disturbing Twilight Zone-esque groupthink dystopia basically ripped straight out of Stepford Wives for anyone not dyed in the wool, born & bred LDS. Aka, only "Utah Mormons" fit in there. Utah Valley's not sarcastically called "Happy Valley" with no good reason! Salt Lake City otoh is both physically beautiful AND a nice place to be, regardless of one's race, religion, and culture! 🤷
