3165dwayne i mean, how come a person so smart if he’s just some lazy person who claims he’s “Smart” and tells everyone that his or her IQ is high then he later failed on college and never have a job?
@3165dwayne, Considering the Big 5 personality traits and established psychological statistics, (on average) intelligence is the #1 determinant in success. Conscientiousness being #2 (e.g. orderliness, dutifulness, responsibility, gratitude, etc.). However, intelligence alone isn't sufficient for success (however one defines it). Hierarchies are primarily competence based. i.e. Want it? Put in the work.

the first problem is you assume that your performance in school means you were smarter. It's not always that way. People engage more in things they are interested in. Some people take time to find the thing they are best at and apply themselves.

(Eg, parents who pass on the family business to their kids, good life coaches, give great advice, etc). 3. Having a Better start, financially. Eg, Parents paid their way thru college, or gave them money to make investments, gave money to start a business, etc. 4. Luck. Sometimes, ppl just get lucky. My friend (not that smart) happened to buy a house in 2008 in Seattle bc that's when he was starting a family. In the past 13 years, real estate sky rocketed in Seattle. Thru no deliberate planning of his own, he made capital gains of 300K on his house. He never even considered this when making the purchase.

This is so much in the corporate world, but when you're starting your own business, being willing to take risks and accept failure and try again is what's important. That's business 101.
... And if you think about it, it makes sense that stupid people would fail repeatedly trying to do something risky and just keep trying, and that's exactly what makes successful people. Most successful people are likely not very smart, but if they are, they're probably likely on the autistic scale or sociopaths.
In most cases, the so-called successful stupid people, either kiss ass to move up the ladder. In other cases, you have people who sleep their way to the top, and last but not least, there are others, who join fraternities and sororities.

@Dr. Paul Southerland, M.D. College is not as bad as high school, middle school, etc. I was really only talking about everything before college and mainly american public schools. I can't explain anything in detail because most people are too slow to read more than 2 sentences. Regardless, the point you made doesn't in any way disprove my theory. Them deciding who becomes a medical doctor only means they have power over the healthcare system, that doesn't make them trustworthy (the government). These days, most people who major in anything outside of the medical field will find themselves jobless for a very long time so your perspective is a little biased as you are the exception. The pledge of allegiance, assigned seating, having to ask for permission to do anything are a few examples of the government preparing us for the factories. We were taught to obey the teacher without question and you're lying to yourself if you say anything otherwise. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I'd rather be paranoid than gullible.
For every successful stupid person you know that is where they are due to complete disregard for risk, there are dozens that aren’t, because confidence without expertise rarely works
Idk if this guy was completely an idiot if he made a very successful business. There are many business owners that aren’t very socially/emotionally intelligent. In fact, they can actually use this to their advantage, if there were too many entrepreneurs that are highly empathic business would fail more often, perhaps not make as much money. I.e. “Oh I’ll just give them a discount, So they stop being mad at me. They’re probably really struggling.” Not being aware that the customer ain’t struggling, they’re just full of crap.
Yes overthinking is a big issue and a huge time waster. Also there is the perfectionist bug when you can’t finish something because you want it to be perfect. Because of these 2 things it took me over 2 years to finally start a UA-cam channel (and yes I am still not ready haha). Definitely we should think less, do more and use the feedback we get from our actions and improve. Another nice video :)
Not something specific, just wanted to start doing what I love and live the lifestyle I wanted...I've seen that time goes by and instead of wasting it I should just start a channel like I planed long time ago
Yeah no, you want to work smarter not harder, using your “brain “ is the most important tool you will ever own , in computer terms even while you sleep it never shuts off, your brain if you have ever researched medicine is a super computer that is on 24/7 until the day you die, without it you are just wasting space
Most of the time stupid people fail. You just see the odd one that by accident does ok. Smart people always do better, they may not look like it, but as they say there is more to life than money, Something a stupid person will never get, they just keep working until they drop.
This is true. Life is not a drama. A lot of comments here are overgeneralizations and drama. In the company, stupid people fail. If stupid people receive better than you, it is time to leave.
you are referring to school intelligence which does not apply in real life..i dont believe he deserves the word stupid..people who do better in life are naturally smarter than all those who thought they are smart .. by making this video it only appears that you dont get it...he is smarter than you!.. its just that u think you are better and you end up calling the other guy stupid but he's got the better deals in life... he is smarter than you in short..u just dont get it..
The movie “Envy” showcases this theme. The smart guy has a dumb neighbor that says he’s going to invent a spray that makes dog poo disappear, obviously the smart guy tells the dumb neighbor that this is impossible and a terrible idea. The dumb neighbor didn’t even know how the spray would work, he just wanted it to exist. Well, the spray somehow works and the dumb neighbor becomes a millionaire and builds a new gigantic mansion on the same property that overshadows the smart guy’s house. Dumb movie, but I highly recommend it!
The guy you are talking about most likely got bad grades and was a trouble maker at school because he was wise enough to realise that school education is just insidious conditioning and brainwashing and is not the key to success. He sounds like he was just rebellious and a free thinker, not following the herd like the rest of the apathetic students. This is because he is actually not stupid at all, but very clever and perceptive. He knew something you didn't and that's why he's a successful millionaire and you are doing a monotonous 9 to 5 job. Just because someone doesn't fit into the establishments left brained education system doesn't mean they are stupid. In fact they are often the most intelligent and progressive people. These people are often the mavericks, the original free thinkers, the inventors, the one's who think outside the box, the true visionaries who find success in life. I guess YOU were too stupid to realise this hahaha Only joking. Keep up the videos. Great work. Well edited and put together.
Sinewaz bruh, u are brainwashed too. School itself maybe not important, but the brand of your school matters because other people judge you based on your college degree. Now I’m not saying that you’re wrong, but the people you are talking about probably don’t care about their life at all.
Smart (truly smart) people win in the long game. Lack of thinking inevitably catches up cause they get burned by a problem that they didnt......(wait for it)........ *think about*
In the stone age, the strong and stupid brute brought home the meat, and everybody loved him. The smart guy was not so tall, strong, or brawny, and was laughed at and ridiculed by everyone when he suggested that "we share meat". He was also the small and weak loser who wasn't allowed to sleep near the fire and eat with the rest of the tribe, and lived outside the cave and ate the scraps everybody else threw outside. The modern equivilent still applies today.
This never happened, that's a complete myth. Humans were originally families, communities of families living together, not idiotic cavemen, and intelligent humans have always been of use to society and have always had a place of respect in the community. Rather, the emphasis on brute strength as opposed to cunning and intellect is entirely a cultural preference rather than a societal or human one. This unhistorical fictional bullshit narrative you and so many others are spinning needs to end.
Idk man, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, you can go on and on... Which one of those looks like the brute that would 'bring meat home'? Modern equivalent my ass.
@@Yuilen People naturally form hierarchies in order of social and economic dominance. In the ancient past, and throughout most of human history this was mostly the men who could hunt and fight for the tribe. Although this concept went through many incarnations over the ages, the basic idea remains the same. Women look for capability, men look for youth and beauty. In the 21st century, meager and sickly men who develop their intellect to compensate for their lack of direct physical power in the past would've been labeled either crazy, or branded as a foolish eccentric for his silly ideas that didn't pertain to practical matters or concerns, they have more tools to learn, share information, and navigate their way through the world. But our digitized world is fragile and delicate. In the event of a power outage or other long term disaster, calamity, or cataclysm where there is no internet to keep systems and servers running, and really, no running water, or working infrastructure to speak of, people in like for example a collapse of social order in an urban area with no food delivery, no waste removal, no running water, or electricity, and no rule of law, will revert back to their primal instincts and what will they do? They will form groups for protection, and the pooling of resources. Who will dominate these groups? Alpha men who are tall, charismatic, strong, secure in themselves, and know what they stand for, and know what they are capable of when things go wrong. Does this describe some whiny socialism sympathizing loser who complains about inequality? NO. The woman will be instinctively compelled to follow these top men who run things, because that's how women are wired. The modern woman is only strong because her independence is propped up by society. By default, humans form hierarchies based on power, resources, and social influence. She doesn't want the dork who the group picks on, as that will threaten her perceived status amongst her peers.
@신비 There's nothing logical about success in business. If you take any business courses in college, the first thing you learn is that repeated risks and failures will eventually lead to success. Though some get lucky, it's rare. Sounds pretty dumb to me. Then you'll learn about niche marketing and accounting and such ...
I used to have an old friend who prefers to call me stupid because I was born to have an intellectual disability, and he is on a higher functioning level of autism.
People don't realize the importance of having good non judgemental energy. The universe tends to reward people for it that's why all these people who are miserable and broke always talking smack about someone are where they are their energy is trash
If your term of successful is financially stable or having a wealthy amount of money, then being smart or idiot doesn't reflect too much on it. There are various examples for both smart and idiot people being rich. It's just being great in the things you do and make it a source of income.
For every ‘stupid’ person that is a success, how many failures are there? For every failed ‘smart’ person how many are ‘successful’? It is easy to focus on the ‘stupid’ success story than the multiple, even if more modest, successes of the smart people.
There are as many as 80+ types of intelligence. Only half are checked in education system. People who have skill other than those half, succeed when the criteria of grades doesn't remain and they can function at their own intutions. That is why concepts of EQ etc are evolved.
Sounds like u underestimated someone doesn't mean he was or is stupid. I'd like a video on how some stupid can be actually accepted by Smart people then when another smart person tries everyone thinks the new person was outside of reality.
Honestly, I'm just happy to find a channel talking about this topic that doesn't have 1 million+ subs. There's nothing more patronizing than someone with a super successful UA-cam channel telling you that it's okay and normal to be behind and struggling, because they are too. It's like, bruh...you're probably making more in a bad month than I've made in the last 5 years. Who are you fooling? But this video is pretty on point. Although from my life experience of seeing people both smarter and dumber than myself, harder working and lazier, better prepared and less prepared, more driven and less driven, more assertive and less assertive, and many other diametrically opposed traits all do better than me in every conceivable way, I've learned one thing. That is that while intelligence, hard work, persistence, ambition, and goals are all important, they all pale in comparison to the single most important trait a person can have...LUCK.
Indian masters often like to make their disiples ponder on what it is that distinguishes an enlightened sage from any other human being. The later may more intelligent more educated more handsome that the sage. He may have all the sort of skills that the sage does not have. But there is one fundamental characterise that makes all the difference between the two. The sage is permanently aware and the other is not.
But while some stupid people succeed, most of them fail. You are just seeing the ones who have succeeded. Yes, took action, but were also lucky. But smart people are also more careful and they won't fail as much.
The A+ students make great employees for the B and C students. College won't make you wealthy or successful, it guarantees you a paycheck. Great inventors weren't wealthy, they were funded by someone else.
I'm just now learning that I have been too smart to succeed so far. This is the 2nd vid I've watched today telling me the same thing. Meant to be? I think so. Time to put learning into action folks! If you're smart, you will...er, rather if you're smart enough to act dumb, you will!
When You see a certified stupid person successful , the situation is : That's an outlier, most stupid people aren't successful, but the number of people in this world makes the number of outliers seem big .. The reason is luck , they were lucky to be in a certain condition or had alot of opportunities come their way .. that's all , don't overthink it
Me, a stupid guy justifying my belief that others are more successful than me because they are stupid, while me, am the truly smart, and hence, unsuccessful.
By the way these people are not "stupid" these people are smarter than any unsuccessful person because they realized less is more in the real world something so called smart people never realized and spend all their life working hard for nothing how smart is that? Its about how you carry yourself how you feel about yourself and how you respect yourself. Thats what leads to success
Well no. If you’re goals aren’t as high as you can make them, then you’re not really trying. You can’t just shoot for being mediocre and still make it in life. Some people do that and get stupidly lucky, but still...
i did alot of bold action in my life you know what i regret the most why i wasn't take those long time ago but eventually i accept that and decided i won't be coward again , keep moving and don't look to coward people anymore you would be great 👊
Yup those type of people I got rid of because I'm a real person and I'm honest and the sad fucked up thing is I've been told I'm NOT honest by people who are lairs themselfs and only said I'm not honest to put me down and because I don't live like them and act all phony and have big sucess and tons or money and all that superficial bullshit I have enough money to live and that is fine with me I just enjoy creating and my hobbies lol also it is really them that are not honest because all they care about is showing off and fitting in with other people it's all bullshit
I'm extremely stupid and I'm not successful... Stupid people like me are not good at anything and are more likely to be homeless or a burden on someone else. I believe you are talking about smart people on the lower end of the high intelligence spectrum.
Well, a lot of stupid people end up worse than smart people. It's just that a few succeed and they are the ones you see. Most stupid people end up worse than smart people.
Only when they get in the streets get hooked on drugs or go to jail. If they don't do neither they will certainly be more successful than the average "smart" person I dint make the rules
Properly they have somebody to support them, meanwhile other people are on their awn it takes more time more work and proper planning, when we age we change we dont think the same so we drop our old plans
A troublemaker who is not really good at anything...and is not a nice guy... He was born as a leader. If you are really good at some special skill, that makes you a professional--and you stop there. If you never make any troubles, that means you are just a follower. If you are a nice guy--you cannot be a successful leader, because the essence of power is to force people to follow you.
Generalizing all of viewers as not being stupid themselves is faulty. I have been reading and investing in financial assets for more than 6 years now and more I understand things more I think I don't know anything. People who think they are smart are many times ignorant
I have high iq and im a loser because im also a good man and i overthink things. Im smarter then most people. But i cant focus my mind into practical stuff.
social skills are way more vital than any technical knowledge, and stupid people don't calculate risk as well, so they take more risks leading to higher rewards, AND spectacular failures sometimes. IF you are charming, good looking, and good with people, you have all the skills you need. Life will hand you success on a silver plater
Let me add that for every successful stupid person you see, there are loads stupid nobodies, many who's lifes are a complete mess. You have all met them.
He probably not stupid .. If someone who don't have good marks ..then it doesn't mean they are stupid ..he probably more smarter and better in other sectors and he focused on it
Nonsense because you underestimate others. Accept that others do have skills that you don’t have. The school environment is not a precursor to reality. Also people change. Shy people mature and learn to showcase their talents later in life. Unless you inherit wealth most people work very hard to succeed. There are many types of intelligence. There is crystallized intelligence like learning facts and there is fluid intelligence like analysis skills of situations. The winners of quiz shows need crystallized intelligence but inventors need fluid intelligence. You just were unable to recognize fluid intelligence.
Im dumb so thats why people call me beauty without brain and but they say im talented I think most of the dumb people are talented but they are just not good at school
A high IQ and good grades are not a guarantee for success.
Same way a lower IQ and
bad grades are not a barrier to success.
I don't want to be in this world anymore.

Because of these 2 things it took me over 2 years to finally start a UA-cam channel (and yes I am still not ready haha). Definitely we should think less, do more and use the feedback we get from our actions and improve. Another nice video :)
I also had the same issue with my UA-cam channel and I still overthink from time to time, but it's good to be conscious about it :)
I am curious what was the final push for you?
Not something specific, just wanted to start doing what I love and live the lifestyle I wanted...I've seen that time goes by and instead of wasting it I should just start a channel like I planed long time ago
Nice 😊Keep up the good work doing what you love!
Yeah no, you want to work smarter not harder, using your “brain “ is the most important tool you will ever own , in computer terms even while you sleep it never shuts off, your brain if you have ever researched medicine is a super computer that is on 24/7 until the day you die, without it you are just wasting space
"Why Stupid People Are More Successful Than You?" I immediately think of Jake Paul.
And the kardashian/jenner
Because smart people waste too much time contemplating, and spend too little time *TAKING ACTION*.
He got bailed out by a rich famiky, in real life these kids end up as drug addicts and prostitutes
Khalid Suleman only smart people would do that us “stupid” people don’t think about it to much
cope
True 98% of what you learn is a waste
I guess YOU were too stupid to realise this hahaha
Only joking. Keep up the videos. Great work. Well edited and put together.
Yeah I know what you mean, I totally agree, but it sounds better as a title so...haha(;
Sinewaz bruh, u are brainwashed too. School itself maybe not important, but the brand of your school matters because other people judge you based on your college degree.
Now I’m not saying that you’re wrong, but the people you are talking about probably don’t care about their life at all.
Freedom Kingdom Tbh a very terrible title. A lot of people misunderstood this video and now believe the world is run by idiots.
Qwerty Uiop the world is run by idiots, Donald Trump nuff said
Jack Davids Yes, a few countries are ran by idiots (including ours). But the rest of the world isn’t.
Yeah right! As someone who is an idiot, I can confirm I'm a litteral trillionare who is known by billions
Success is not having a lot of money. It is becoming knowledgeable and skillful. Knowledge is wisdom.
Its not stupidity. Its emotional intelligence. You probably lack emotional intelligence, especially if you go around calling people stupid.
The trend is that famous people on UA-cam are not smart
Thinking doesn't mean you are smart.
Yes
@신비 There's nothing logical about success in business. If you take any business courses in college, the first thing you learn is that repeated risks and failures will eventually lead to success. Though some get lucky, it's rare. Sounds pretty dumb to me. Then you'll learn about niche marketing and accounting and such ...
Simply put wealth and power are attained by those ruthless enough to take it.
The harsh truth of life: Stupid but good-looking people have unfair advantage for success compared to smart but ugly people, like myself... :-(
I used to have an old friend who prefers to call me stupid because I was born to have an intellectual disability, and he is on a higher functioning level of autism.
Great video btw
For every ‘stupid’ person that is a success, how many failures are there? For every failed ‘smart’ person how many are ‘successful’? It is easy to focus on the ‘stupid’ success story than the multiple, even if more modest, successes of the smart people.
There are as many as 80+ types of intelligence. Only half are checked in education system. People who have skill other than those half, succeed when the criteria of grades doesn't remain and they can function at their own intutions. That is why concepts of EQ etc are evolved.
People aren't more stupid. They're stupider.
As Nike said “Just Do It!”
Haha, a sign from up above! I'd suggest to reduce your IQ
Is this a joke? Because you really shouldn't fall for this. Plenty of smart people are also successful and this analysis is very close minded.
Too smart to succeed? No. Maybe you aren't successful because you give yourself excuses like this.
Freedom Kingdom you just missed your own point
What language are you writing in?
When You see a certified stupid person successful , the situation is :
That's an outlier, most stupid people aren't successful, but the number of people in this world makes the number of outliers seem big ..
The reason is luck , they were lucky to be in a certain condition or had alot of opportunities come their way .. that's all , don't overthink it
It's not luck it's manifestation the universe tends to favor stupid people
I disagree im dumb af but I overthink everything but im compulsive so I ill jump on anything
Me, a stupid guy justifying my belief that others are more successful than me because they are stupid, while me, am the truly smart, and hence, unsuccessful.
Intelligent people tend to think they are better than others
I am stupid... This helps me to learn everything in this world... As I know a bit of a the world but not everything...
I'll only say: we all have different goals and needs.
Well no. If you’re goals aren’t as high as you can make them, then you’re not really trying. You can’t just shoot for being mediocre and still make it in life. Some people do that and get stupidly lucky, but still...
@@maxogorman3342 You totally missed her point. Damn!
"I'm tired of living on this planet"-Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth
School is not the key for fortune
I don't know about using the word "stupid" to describe those type of people.. But aye nice video!
Thanks! :D
This doesn't imply for everyone. Unless you change your mindset.
i did alot of bold action in my life you know what i regret the most why i wasn't take those long time ago but eventually i accept that and decided i won't be coward again , keep moving and don't look to coward people anymore you would be great 👊
Just one stupid guy succeed it doesn't mean every stupid guy succeed majority of people who succeeded are intelligent
Don't feel bad about yourselve, you will make it by God's grace.
Amen
Im dumb asf didn't study and im still passing the fitness trainer course 😂
The real real reason is he lied his way to the top fake people are always more successful than real people it all in the semantics the words they say
Sociopath or idiot... You'll never know.
Morel of the story life doesn't give a second thought on people lol thanks for the video byw.
Because the world is unfair.
I'm stupid and I pet and play with wasps. I've never been stung by a wasp. I do this everyday.😊
You are not smart you are a machine. Your friend is a human
Im stupid cuz that’s the only thing I’m only good at
Smart people tend to waste their time focusing on things that don’t give them power.
Life is not fair..
Reality is stupid & depressing..
that's why i'm suicidal.. better to die than live in this shit hell-hole existence..
Define stupid and smart.
Smart people overanalyze "stupid people just jump in and go!!
Priorities. Also define talents and intelligence on a broad span. Work smarter not harder
Smart people don't think or argue that they are smart.
50 /50 luck,skill,experience
People you know, building a successful team,
social skills are way more vital than any technical knowledge, and stupid people don't calculate risk as well, so they take more risks leading to higher rewards, AND spectacular failures sometimes. IF you are charming, good looking, and good with people, you have all the skills you need. Life will hand you success on a silver plater
It is common to encounter Business owners of Elementary and secondary education employs employees of doctora and masters degree graduate
I been asking this for over 20 years.
how successful are you also depends a lot on how other people think about you.
if its true then its probably good that my brain is square
Amazing, always thought this
i learn from comments more than from the video XD
Now I realise how stupid I am!
Im dumb so thats why people call me beauty without brain and but they say im talented
I think most of the dumb people are talented but they are just not good at school
Um. Are you born dumb?
