Thank you! Hope you can find a local mushroom farm (usually in a warehouse). If there isn't a recycling program in your area, there are likely plenty available if you're willing to do a little dumpster diving.
As an experiment I used a couple of spent blocks along with some dead branches from the big 2021 freeze that I soaked in water for 7 days to fill the bottom of a new raised bed. I figured whatever was left of the blocks might help kickstart the decomposition of the wood down there. No idea if it helped but no complaints from anything in the raised bed. 😊
