Verry cool and verry hight quality
Beautiful.
Nicely done Philip Bloom The best Phantom footage and production I've seen.
wow this amazing
Looks amazing! Kudos!
Great video! We had our honeymoon on Koh Yao Noi, we had awesome time and memories and we made a promise to come back here one day.
I just can't get enough of Philip Blooms work. Think I'll never need a subscription for national geographic channel because he basicly shows us the whole world! Absolute Legend
what a beautiful piece of art. i have had the privilege to stay and live on the island. The vibe is so peaceful and amazing.
I've seen this video several times now and it amazes me every time. Bloom is an absolute god with post processing. The grading in this video is absolutely astonishing.
I could only dream of making such stunning and visually awe-inspiring shots. This is remarkable and deserves to be praised of it.
Thank you
Stunning work Philip! Thank you for letting GoPro share this and thanks for your website/blog. Amazing work as always !
That drone plus the HERO3+ is just amazing! Such smooth sequences. Watching this in 1440 and fullscreen is really the only way to experience this piece of magic. I'm trying to learn how to effectively use 2.7K myself, you've nailed it PB
Phillip, mate, this is seriously stunning man. I'm glad to see your work get so much exposure. You are seriously such a talented artist, and the world is better to have you in it.
Philip Bloom, your artistry is inspiring. Congratulations on your win at the NYC 2015 Drone Film Festival!
boomerang carnets | ATA Carnet thank you!
What an outstanding film. There are not enough words to describe my feelings after watching this. Your choice of music for this just puts all the feelings into motion. I felt like I was there. I cannot stop watching. That music just grabs you so much too. Well done!!!
***** I am curious as to what laws you think I broke exactly? You make wildly insulting and inaccurate comments. Do you have a chip on your shoulder? Using the word infantile is quite perplexing!
The people filmed were under my direction. The shots through the town were done on a quad bike with me holding the drone, it was not flying, I just used the gimbal. The final shot with the children obviously the drone was not flying, again I was just holding it. It just had power to the gimbal. So please enlighten this "amateur" because I am insulted by your self righteous comments that has no resemblance to any facts, but don't worry you aren't alone. The internet is the perfect place for you to write whatever you want! :) Thank you!
Nicely put Philip Bloom... Nice work as always... and thanks for all you do to help our industry.
Gorgeous. Philip Bloom never didappoints.
Philip Bloom - beautiful film that really captures the emotion of the location.
Philip,
your work is always an inspiration to behold. I've followed you for the past 5 years and you always impress. Keep up the great work and ignore the online trolls who Re just jealous of your talent.
Inspiring work as usual, Philip Bloom!
Thank you, for sharing this with the world and reminding me of one of the most beautiful places on earth that Ive been to.
I'm so envious that you get to do what I right now can only dream of; and do it with style and grace.
#gratitude
This is so beautiful... from the landscape to the drone control. Gorgeous work Philip
Philip, inspired work as always! Love the backstory you wrote below in response to the "life is unfair" comment. It's good for people to understand you don't start with a video like this. You get to this point by working hard (and with talent). No short cuts.
This film inspired me to start aerial filmography and also to visit this magnificent island, so thanks for literally changing my life Phillip
This is by far the most beautiful go pro video i've ever seen!
There are few videos i have watched on UA-cam that that expressed so much emotion just in the way it was shot. Amazing work! Now looking forward to more from you
This is unbelievable! Philip Bloom has been messing around with the phantom and gopro for what, like 2 months? and already getting this kind of quality! This really shows its not about the gear but the talent behind it!
thank you very kind of you! 2 and half months! :)
Truly excellent. The sequences with the children are simply superb
This is a beautiful piece of art. I guess the guy complaining about the safety risks sends his kids to school in a crash helmet - he must be very anxious to have these negative thoughts dominating his mind. I believe Mr Bloom - as an experienced photographer, I'm sure he knows what he is doing. I live in Africa and I am sick of people from an advanced societies believing all developing nations are exploited. Thats not fair. Having access to work of this very high quality only shows people in Africa (and Thailand) what is creatively possible and drives us to do better work. Thank you Mr Bloom..
Thank You for taking the time to feature this island, it has a special place in my heart! I just worry it might lead to an even greater influx of tourism and all its unfortunate downsides (but i guess that's just me being a little bit selfish)
Beautiful film. Philip Bloom was the first filmmaker to inspire me when I purchased my first ever dslr: A Canon 7D. It's crazy how fast time flies. I have finally finished my first ever film (I know, way too long) and would love for anyone to watch it on my channel which is just starting. It is also a GoPro film. Life took a toll on me but I've finally started to pursue my passion of filming. Feel free to check it out. And to Philip Bloom: Keep inspiring brotha!
This captures the spirit of the islands of SE Asia perfectly.
This was absolutely beautiful!
Thanks for sharing such amazing shots!!! They explain how beautiful the world is thru your eyes Philip.
Every single shot in that sequence looks amazing...!
Beautiful film images, stable, simply gorgeous. The DJI Phantom drone gets the amplify views in a very real and funny way. My deepest respect to Mister Philip Bloom. I would love to film something like this in my country, México.
Beautifully shot, Phillip. Great cinematography and a peek at how the future of film will look with advent of drone operated cameras.
How could anyone give this a thumbs down? stunning scenery, well captured and beautifully put together with an amazing edit, why not just sit back and admire the whole thing rather than get lost in writing covetous (look it up) remarks on what equipment the guy did or didn't use ? Good work.
I have fallen in LOVE with this Video and SONG, it was VERY WELL put together.
I have shared with other and they LOVE IT
great
How can anyone dislike this video? *deep sigh* Philip Bloom is a genius.
I've already seen this at least 20 times on Philip's channel but it's so beautiful that I had to watch it again. :)
GoPro is more than sport cam... GoPro make that dream comes true ! Thanks !
WTF ? The video is about GoPro,......but wait its not a GoPro but the description itself says its a video about a DJI Phantom. Why is GoPro showing a video and abilities of a DJI Phantom. LOL
This is a very powerful piece of video. Lovely composition and arrangement. The music compliments the stunning videography. I am not crying.👍
Absolutely incredible. It's amazing to me that a GoPro can do this.
Philip Bloom truly is one inspiring filmmaker! Epic stuff!
This is the beauty of editing.
Stunning film from an absolutely beautiful location. Makes me wish I were back there myself.
Wow, an advert I actually enjoyed watching.. Thank you UA-cam! THANK YOU!
Long live the go pole haha, since watching this video I have spent the best part of 4 hours looking up the DJI phantom drone! wicked video Philip
One of the most beautiful video I've ever seen. Congrats, wonderful job!
This is incredible. Phillip Bloom, you are incredible. Well done!
MANLY TEARS DAMN IT....MANLY TEARS....screw it this video is freaking amazing and really heart warming
Damn. a lot of editing & color grading went into this, if it wasn't on the GoPro channel i'd never believe it was shot with one. Nicely done!
thanks. yep I spent ages on this one!
Philip Bloom Amazing video! Im staying on the island in just over a month, is there anything you would advise me to do/see/go etc? Thanks!
Max Sealy the same place? Fantastic. When are you going? I would be SO grateful if you can take 2 or 3 DVDs of the film to that little village so they can see it? It's a very small place. Email me at help@philipbloom.net and i can recommend some places. Not a lot to do there so I hope you are good at relaxing! I only had 6 days and just relaxed on last one after filming!
Philip Bloom Yes! im going on the 3rd August! I would be more than happy to do that! Haha my Mum did tell me it was small...! It looks amazing, and your video has made beyond excited! plenty of instagram opportunities haha!
Max Sealy Sir, you have just earned a new subscriber with this amazing work! Keep it up!
Just amazing. The best drone footage I have ever seen hands down! Besides being a gifted filmmaker, Philip is one heck of a pilot! The shot thru the closely spaced trees was just amazing. Would sure like to see some Behind the scenes footage of how all of this was actually pulled off.
Once again, Mr.Bloom, AMAZING WORK!!!
It always blows me away how putting a little camera on a toy helicopter can takes such awesome videos.
Koh Yao Noi is such a beautiful place. So primitive and peaceful. Its great to see a cinematic birds eye view of a place iv visited.
Its things like this that make me want to keep striving for an editing career. Beautiful work.
That was Amazing. I could watch it over and over again. I hope that I can film like that one day. Thanks for sharing.
letting the video buffer to 2.7K was definitely worth the wait.
I lived in this island and I know how beautiful it is :))) thank you so much K.Philip Bloom to make this film then everyone know our island :))
you are welcome. i hope to come back one day
Gorgeous. Brilliantly filmed and edited. Wow....
Thank you for present beautiful video of Thailand.
Philip Bloom i'm a 2nd year film student and i wanna thank you for this incredible work of art , it is seriously educational to see how you compose and edit your shots , i've also seen your pro photographer challenge on digitalrev so i am well aware of your skill and experience unlike what others say this work of art isn't 100% tech and 0% user , you sir are an artist and please keep doing what you do and serve as an inspiration and role model to us film and photography soon to be professionals :)
thanks enormously Eddy!
...I dont even understand, why people spent time on negative (obviously jealousy) comments, instead of grabbing theire camera, going out and shooting video....
It's all about the man behind!
Well done Philip!
awesome!! Beautiful coors, beautiful views, shots and music! GREAt WORK!
Breathtaking and awe inspiring work, GoPro heaven.

Brilliant - well flown and great shots. I was in Thailand 18 months ago (before I got my Phantom 2) and would love to get back there again to film it.
One of few Gopro videos that are breathtaking beautiful!! Hollywood may be getting these for their movies soon if they hadn't already!
Great filming and edit.
Some shots were real low and some were so tight that you had no room for error.
Great piloting skills too.

This is actually amazing...
Philip Bloom
Splendid. And incredible stability
Very beautiful work! Thanks for sharing! The sites and sounds were absolutely gorgeous! Truly enjoyed! Thanks again!* :))
Gorgeous work, Philip!
Here is why Bloom is amazing...besides perfect flying...besides incredible shot selection...he is squeezing every drop of goodness from the GoPRO by shooting at sunset with the clouds as a filter! This requires patience, preplanning, and taste. By forcing the go pro into a lowlight situations, the motion blur emulates that of favorite manual DSLR rigs. The GO PRO is essentially an automatic camera and shoots at very jittery shutter speeds in bright light. By going to more low light scenarios via natural light or ND filters you can get closer to the 180 degree rule. For those who aren't aware the 180 degree rule strives to have the shutter speed be double of the reciprocal of the frame rate. ei. 24p = 1/48 shutter speed. GLIDE GEAR LOVES PHILLIP BLOOM!
Fair play to ya Philip! Some amazing shots there, love to see more work from yea!
Because of Philip I've started using widescreen now since I started watching his short films
