beautiful vlog, and "thanks for the memories" ... takes me back about 60 years, as I lived my early life near the north end of that panoramic drive (just up the hill from Powell Lake and the PR mill). The cities and towns along the route change a bit over the decades, but the magnificence of the ocean view, beautiful mountains and forests remain as sublime as I have always remembered them.

I am glad that we could bring back some memories from our earlier life. This is a beautiful section of Canada.

Thank you very much. I edit on FinalCut Pro X and I use the Hawaiki Color plugin for Final Cut Pro for colour grading. Cheers!

@@ThePlanetD that's great! They say editing in Final Cut is easy? I'm using Adobe Premiere for my travel video sequencing. Though it's still not good though. Do you mind checking it out and let me know what to improve? Would love to learn more.

most people I know edit with Adobe and they say it is so much better. So I think you are on the right track. I'm heading over to your channel now.

I really liked your tour. It was more detailed then a lot of the tourist ads. My wife and I are planning to move out of the big city and up the sunshine coast and this gives a good sense of the locations. Right now we can't go check them out ourselves because of the Covid19 pandemic

Thank you very much. We try to give as much information as we can. The Sunshine Coast looks like an amazing place to live. I hope you get to do some scouting for a home there soon after the pandemic ends.

I haven't gon ein December, but I am sure it is beautiful. But perhaps Whistler or Revelstoke would be more suited for winter outdoor fun.

The Sunshine Coast has some similarities to Quebec's Lower North Shore, New Brunswick's Campobello Island, and Nova Scotia's Sambro Loop as you have to take a ferry even though they are part of the mainland or drive through a city instead of a rural area to reach it.
For example, to reach Quebec's Lower North Shore area, especially the Vieux Fort to Blanc Sablon corridor, you have to take a ferry from Havre St. Pierre to Blanc Sablon or St. Barbe to Blanc Sablon.
In the case of the Sambro Loop, you have to drive through Halifax's Spryfield area to reach it, and there are no additional rural routes connecting that area, not even from nearby Prospect or St. Margaret's Bay areas.
