I’m going to stick beside you and keep tuning in! Reps are controversial for many reasons but I’m on the side supporting replicas. Not everyone can afford them and let’s be honest, some of these luxury brands aren’t being honest about the cost to make each bag. *cough* Dior *cough*. This past Spring I took a deep dive into the rep world and it’s impressive.
😂😂😂 I hollered at the cough. I feel you though the prices are getting ridiculous considering what the consumer actually gets. I just want people who aren’t into this type of thing to know what to look for so they don’t get ripped off. But I also want people who are into them to know where to find them lol. I'm against knock offs. It's not fair to the companies who worked so hard to get to where they are. There's a reason why they're illegal.

On the flip side, back in the day Gucci didn’t care about knock offs. They considered it free advertising which is weird considering the quality of the knockoffs available back then. I expect to get more comments agreeing with your side of this argument.
Great topic Dre. As you know a very touchy subject for most on both sides. I think it is terrible indeed about these fakes. Not so much for the business, lord know they charge way too much in my book. But I feel more so for the consumer that are scammed into buying these super fakes as the real deal. As you can see they add all that fancy paperwork to make it even more solid to scam one. With that said, I do own quite a few super fakes. I have a speedy 25 mirror quality, even the canvas, not as thick as your 20 that I think would confuse even a LV SA. I purchased mainly to see if I want or if it would lite my fire to buy the real one. And well eh not really. But with my super fakes, I would rather burn them then pass them along to others. Their lifeline ends with me (or my sister lol cause I know she will keep forever). Awesome video.
Exactly! Consumers getting scammed out of their hard earned coins grinds my gears. Especially when the super fakes are getting past client advisors who can tell the difference! It makes me feel as if I need to authenticate EVERYTHING- even those pieces I actually purchase from the boutique 😩. Thx for watching!

This topic is so complex…Whew. I will just say that things like receipts and such can lead to deception like someone unsuspecting purchasing a bag they think is real for a high price. That is wrong. It has happened to me and I was very disappointed. On the other hand, I can see how someone who can’t afford a real item would appreciate this option. I can even see someone who can afford the real deal getting this because it’s cheaper or just to test it out. Ultimately, you’d have to put yourself in the shoes of the designers to understand the negative stigma. I have a lot of dupes when it comes to bags that look like another bag but are not replicas. There’s hardly anything new under the sun, so I see nothing wrong with these. It happens everywhere with everything. Water bottles, bags, even cars. You could definitely do a miniseries on this 😊
It’s so complex with so many layers. I’m completely and totally shocked by everything that’s out there and how they increasingly get better. I heard there was a woman who was going into Chanel, buying new bags, and then going back to the store with the fake and returning it with the receipt. None of the client advisors were able to spot the fakes.. She did this multiple times to the millions of dollars before she was caught. But imagine how many people got fake bags in the process. authenticate authenticate authenticate is all I can say lol. Thanks for watching!

That replica looks like it’s well made but I wouldn’t want to knowingly wear or use a fake luxury handbag, SLG or jewelry with the name of the brand they are copying. I don’t mind dupes or inspired by items. It’s helpful to see just how good these super fakes can look compared to the genuine article. Thanks for sharing, Dre.

I think this is a good topic because not everyone purchases authentic bags or can afford them. This allows people who buy authentic to see how good the fakes have become so they know what to look for. And it allows people who are interested in them to know where to go to find them. If someone is opposed to them or offended by them obviously they don’t have to purchase them. ❤

I really don’t like the brands that completely copy another brand, even providing fake receipts. It just feels wrong. Like AI images and photoshop, I don’t like being deceived. This also makes me wonder what the point of buying a real one is when the fakes are so hard to spot. Thank you for sharing, very interesting!

People still buy the real thing because they want to carry the real bag, even if the fakes are hard to spot. It doesn’t matter what others think. Some people just don’t want to carry a fake. No matter how good it is, there’s always a difference. Plus, with the real thing, you can always get it restored/repaired by the company.

I say to each his own. I have a mix of authentic and other High Quality replica.
There are some still not so great fakes out there. But I would pay $250 vs $2500 any day for a bag to serve the same purpose.
I get the same compliments.
Plus I can get every bag of every season of every new release.
I believe the same people that sewed the authentic also sew the fakes. I bet non of those workers even make enough money to carry the bags they make. No guilt here.
I just say if you're going to do a fake do it well. I've seen way better than what you displayed in this video. Try various vendors. At the end of the day, do you. It's YOUR channel 😊
It was never my intention to promote fakes on this channel. I’m just trying to show people what’s out there and what to look for. Most working people can’t afford the products they make at work. Just like the client advisors in the boutiques. Luxury brands aren’t made for everyday people. Everything isn’t for everybody. But Doing fakes well is not a goal for me or this channel. I let the companies send me these bags just so I can show people. I still encourage people to do their own research regardless to what they’re buying. I also realize there are levels to this whole game and I mention that in a video that I’ve already filmed that will go live sometime next week. It really is an interesting world!
