Thank you
Summary)
materials)
1. sodium chloriden solution
2. NaOH solution
desicattor)
this is desicatror set, so using this will be concrete specimens filling, with distilled water, pump inject water in concrete complex
concrete specimens are completely being submerged in water
this indicates that all of concrete specimens completely vacuum
take specimens out
no spaces, completely closed, fill the cell with a electronic(NaOH, NaCl)
put sensors and set 60V for 6 hours.
Every civil engineer must know
Very nice and useful information
Thank You Sir
In ASTM 1202 it is said fill the voids in sample with CaOH
Super
how about of using column size of 150x300 mm^2 ?
Sir you have to core cut the sample for testing from your specimen (column)
why should we prepare sample in vacuum desigator??
Vaccum desigator is used to remove air voids without any additional agents
in one video it is said to prepare sample by lime saturation process
Sir,how many hours should be kept in vacuum designator????
As per ASTM C1202, soaking should be done for 18hours
Is this a process of AASHTO T277?
Procedure is same for both ASTM C1202 and AASHTO T277... Only the limitations in result variations are different...
What is your school name and place?
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University), Tamil Nadu, India
what if we do the test without vacuuming it
It may affect the passing of ions which results in inaccurate results
M45 grade ka average rcpt result koi bata sakata h..??
RCPT values differ for each mix of concrete... we cannot derive a standard value of RCPT for certain concrete grades...
