hey i’m lacing mine rn and i can put the lace through the middle part of the tongue because there’s foam what do i do
@@lyleshaw7268 you just gotta put some pressure on the slits in the foam and it should kinda create a hole for the laces to go through👍

Thanks so much for the tutorial:) I have a question, I have some air Jordan mids 1 and air Jordan lows1 that I bought, but the strings on both are too long. Should I downgrade the size to buy some? One thing I haven’t done with my Jordans yet, is take out that cardboard insert from the inside that is still holding up the tongue.
Should I remove that cardboard insert thing and spread the tongue so it’s more wide spread for the laces to go in or should I just go down a lace size?
I don’t thing the cardboard insert should make too much of a difference. If you want the laces to be shorter I’d buy a cheap pair of shorter laces

Congrats on getting your first pair! I have never used crease protectors, but I always leave tissue paper in the toe box when I’m not wearing them. This keeps the original shape👍
my laces are long af so i put the last part before they come out super loose
Yeah I think everyone is having trouble with the laces being too long, take your time putting them in making sure they are loose through each eyelet. And they continue moving them around if need be👍

I can’t do it with my orange jordan 1 KO because the laces are too long what should I do?
I’ve seen some people buy shorter laces and that seemed to work. I’d do that if it’s impossible for the laces you have now. I really like that orange colorway btw!

The laces come out of the top hole and then next thing you know, your stepping on them. How do I stop this?
Mine haven’t fallen out or through the top holes. I would recommend seeing if you can create a knot to stop them from moving out

My Jordan’s only have two holes at the bottom
Im always left with so much lace at the end. idk what im doing wrong
Just keep loosening and fixing the areas that can be loosened till it looks good at the top

I tryed to lace them like that looking at other vids then realized that university blues have 9 lace holes unlike some other models that have 8

how come my laces come out super long, even when they're loose, and on the last eye lit is used but it still comes out long
Yeah that happened to me the first time I laced my pair. Just keep loosening and playing with the laces till they sit how you like them

Start with where you want the laces to hang out of the shoes at the top and loosen them till you get to the bottom, continue to loosen in areas that can be fixed

No they’re not, there’s honestly a lot of flaws on them. The hourglass shape and stitching doesn’t look good in a few spots. Thanks for watching though!

Nope, these are the ones from NIKE. Keep adjusting them, it takes a while

If you got them straight from Nike, you definitely can make them work. Once completed laced up, continue to loosen going down and then back up to get them right

If they are too long, start with where you want them to finish at the top, then loosen up the laces from the top till they look good👍
