I know there are a TON of new groups from the big companies getting a lot of attention, but Billlie are my Rookies of the Year. Hands down. Mando, you really owe it to yourself to watch/react to the story film and other pre-comeback material for both Billlie and Purple Kiss, because both groups are setting new standards for what a "comeback" is now. And Suyeon is only "Sheon" because there's also a Suhyeon in the group, so I don't think anyone would fault you for using her actual name, especially since you were deep in to GP999. And will go out on a limb here and say Suyeon may well have "won" GP999 by "losing" - Billlie are the new Red Velvet in terms of talent, concepts, and visuals, and they're going to be around for a LONG time.
Its not korea that's not into rock....its kpop. Korea has ALWAYS been into rock and rock ballads. Look up the group Buzz and all the old dudes on the panel at masked singer and judges on all the singing competition. They are ALL rock and rock ballad singers from the 70s and 80s
Another very talented K-pop girl group not necessarily seeking out for big wins but just flexing what they are capable of. Kudos to Billlie and to evolution of K-pop indystry. And thanks to all the international K-pop fans who made all this possible (financially)~!
This SLAPPED!! The guitar wilding out during the credits was such a great touch too!! I miss all the rock we used to get in 90s and 00s. I really hope we start getting more P.S. Mando, don't forget that rocket punch just came back a few days ago. It's my favorite title track of theirs since bimbambum and bouncy. I hope you'll check it out :)
