My respect for Otto
📈📉📉📈📈📉📉📈📉📈📉📈📈📉
Future edit:
My respect for Otto has now fallen to the core of the earth after Episode 5.
Future, future update:
This man is actually insane.
Fr
Same man, same
Same bro
Same here
So at first, Otto said "her health must come first".
Here, Noone straights up passes out in front of him, and he goes:
"The worst part is that she wont share more secrets to me >:("
This seems to confirm my theory that the nightmare world isn't just a dream, but rather another dimension of sorts, which I personally find more interesting. This series keeps getting better.
It could and can also mean that Noone's nightmares aren't nightmares but memories of where she goes every night hence how she can feel, smell and taste her "nightmares"
Fr
truly dose and agree with your thoughts everything in this world connects
For real- it’s VERY fascinating ❤❤❤❤
That could work
That sheer panic near the end… it was palpable. This series is truly a masterful example of how to do world building right.
one of em besides one piece or other certain anime
The end with Noone just having a mental breakdown and Otto trying to confert her in the most monotone voice really got me xD
😫
@@superlemonslicer1224my heart was beating like anything when she had that poor panic attack😢
@@TheStarGazer31 nice lol
Can we appreciate the voice acting in this episode especially that sheer panic part whoever the voice actor of Noone is did an amazing job
How do I do that?!

When the voice actor is so good even the listener struggles to breathe

@@lanoface6049 Damn truth, I found myself mimicking her breathing unconsciously before I realized my breathing was bad and to breath on my own consciousness.
Otto is like a therapist that thinks hes a detective or scientist at first he cared about her health now he only cares about answers
This chapter was extra hard for me to watch because I have similar panic attacks to Noones, and what's more, I actualy grew up going to a circus school so idk why or how, but this chapter just feels special to me. And omg the voice acting is amazing in this.
How do I be like that?!
@@vgbcp3rs0na41Uh... How do you have panic attacks? What?
If the purple suited ventrilloquist guy turns out to be an enemy in game, my nightmares arent gonna be so little anymore. O_O
LOL
But you gotta admit tho that it'd be hecka cool!
He will be in the game. That carnival is a confirmed location in the game and the man and his dummy will most likely be the main antagonists of this chapter
Imagine if we get Rusty’s corpse in LN3 😭
@@inker_monkey we will probably get some kind of Easter egg of him in the game
Poor Noone at the end and sadly we can assume poor Rusty didn't make it in the end 😢
I know :(((
Rip Rusty & Jester that died in chapter 2
And whoever the kid was in chapter one
Poor rusty died this chapter
Definitely seems to be something going on with travelling to a different world when dreaming. Man this is getting weirder and weirder and scarier.
it was funny to see Noone basically have a mental breakdown and Otto just standing there saying stuff like "calm down" in the most monotone voice ever
Normal Little Nightmares stuff
@superlemonslicer1224 Otto at this point is becoming more desperate to the point he barely acknowledges noone's wellbeing and concerns
@@craz2580true
Noon is probably alone from Little nightmares. 3. This should probably set in Little nightmares. 3. Actually, because there's a carnival in the little neighbors. 3. That you get to see in the trailer
I did a double take when Otto said “The Ferryman” he’s know who he was the whole time!
could be that he heard it from Cece before
Yeah, I caught that too. He definitely knows way more than he lets on.
when did he say the ferryman
Yeah he says in like Episode 1 that’s what Cece called him
That’s why Otto became so intrigued, because it’s the same man appearing in two different people’s dreams
Noone’s voice acting is truly spectacular. You really feel like you’re in the dream with her and when she’s scared, you FEEL it! Amazing job!
The psychologist needs to chill out he's getting way too aggressive, instead of helping her he's forcing her to get what he wants, he's actually starting to scare her it seems like he has no problem doing that without remorse.
But what do you expect him to do. He took him to see other childer happy playing and sharing cakes with each other. Why did he do that? Personally i don't think he is a pyschologist because she is completely seperated from his family and pyschologists doesn't seperate children from family. It is a different kind of patient i think. But at least i think he cares about her
3 months late but he is probably getting lost in his own desperation, he cares for Noone, but the more Noone describes her nightmates/other dimension ends up distracting him
It's obvious Otto started with good intentions, then got more and more obsessed with finding his missing relative (Cece).
Little does Otto know he was the candle man all along, and in turn, the candle man seeks out Otto. Communicating to him through Noon, beckoning him to come to his world.
It would be an amazing plot twist 😍
I thought the same!
That would be amazing
I could and would honestly love this. Honestly not a bad theory and one of most likely out of all I've seen given that the children don't seem to corrupt perhaps that's what the ferry man wants, to corrupt the doctor into a hideous creature using Noone as a messenger to pique the doctor's curiosity.
It could even be a monster that 1. Is already on the maw ( potentially the wax bellman, given the ferry man is described as the 'candle man' which could have the twisted effect of allowing him to make the doctors face like a candle, forever living as the ferry man's misinterpretation) or 2. A brand new character entirely who might not even have anything to do with the maw but I'm just throwing ideas at the wall so take it all with a big grain of salt 😄.
This would be a great parallel to his name being a palindrome
This one was a hard listen ngl. As someone who has experienced pretty similar panic attack and flashbacks... the one in this episode was really realistic. Poor Noone :( I want to give her a hug so badly :( So hard to have to hear a child go through that :(
fr 😭😭😭 i just wanted to give her a hug. her va was so good!!
Every little nightmare protagonists except Six: First time?
@@freeze_zane0691 Huh? It's not my first time lol The reason why I love Little Nightmares so much is because it artistically depicts what it feels like growing up with trauma pretty well (at least imo it does). I relate to a lot of the LN kids, especially Mono and Noone, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So yeah, I do actually understand some of the emotions they're going though.
@@cathackzz IKR such good voice acting!
@@freeze_zane0691six had hunger
I think Cece, the girl Otto is looking for, might actually be Six. Technically it's not impossible to pronounce "Six" like "Cece" if you pronounce the x like it's a z, as it often is (take Xerneas from pokemon for example). And it's heavily implied that Cece traveled to the Nowhere permanently, or is stuck there, while Noone is switching between the two realms in her sleep.
That’s my thought too!! I wonder if the Nowhere is a place that you’re forever trapped in or only go to when you sleep, which if it isn’t would make Noone’s story that much more interesting, seeing as she maybe hasn’t been fully pulled into the Nightmare world.
@@DragonMousei I'm so happy to hear someone else had the same thought, thanks for replying! I also agree with your theory; I think Noone has the potential to be in the Nightmare world full-time but isn't at that stage yet.
I’ve had this thought for a while now, and the clues just keep piling up. I also think it’s interesting in earlier episodes they specifically mentioned referring to children as numbers.
I agree, I think Otto is going to succeed in making it to the nowhere, and he's going to end up being Mono
@@odnorando8684 oh, you’re so right!! I completely forgot about that!
NEW UPLOAD-!! WOOO
Notes:
The carnival seems to likely be the same as the one seen in the LN3 trailer, as well as the Nowhere/LN world being confirmed as a separate in game universe to the podcast, a completely new dimension to them.
Otto’s story likely isn’t going to end well, I do wonder who he’s looking for though.
I think he's looking for his ,,Sissy"
He’s looking for Cece I think. I might be wrong and misunderstood though.
@@behindthecookie8653He is. Damn just had a thought (a stupid one at that). What if Otto is the Ferryman? In a different dimension, after he entered Nowhere?
@@crabniac that would make sense if the adults turned into monsters when entering the Nowhere as opposed to the children, who don’t. Seeing as every adult we’ve seen in LN is a monster whereas the children are, unless intervened with, almost always relatively normal
Although I feel as if it’d make more sense for children to be the only ones who are physically and mentally capable to transfer over
The suspense is killing me
Me too!
Fr I’m frying
Alright I just had a thought. So the "waking world" and Nowhere are being compared to a one way mirror, where people like Noone are on the side of the mirror where they can see everything while Otto is on the other side. In LN3 it seems that a big part of the game will be travelling through mirrors. So if the waking world and Nowhere are on two sides of a mirror, what if the key to escaping Nowhere lies in traveling through that mirror. In LN 1 and 2 it felt like it was all about survival or gaining power, but what if Low and Alone are actually trying to find a way to escape Nowhere?
But maybe the ending of LN 3 one will be able to escape but the other is trapped or dead in Nowhere, some how Otto knows the fairyman bc noone calls him the candle man not the fairyman, maybe when he was a kid and the person called cici he experienced the nightmares like noone is experiencing. Maybe a stretch but what if the fairyman gave Otto the option to go with him but he refused but cici did accept the fairymans offer, taking her to the dimension nowhere
The fairymans true goal is to give nightmares of other children pulled to nowhere and experience the horror they had dealt and tricked them to go with him for safty but not knowing they are traveling to that world and being one of many new nightmares for future children to dream about
Idk this is my guess on what's going on that I believe that they are saying the fairyman isn't who we think it is than how the comics portray him to he
My bad for my typing I was waking to class lol 🤣
First one was about escaping The Maw... it failed, there's no place to escape in this nightmare
Second one was about fighting the Signal Tower... it failed, you can't fight this nightmare
So the only choice left is to escape from the nightmare itself, _escape from the Nowhere_
this is a really cool theory! and there's also a very specfic mirror shown multiple times during the ln3 trailer, so that could be THE mirror to escape the nowhere.
@@agusnicoletti3051 it would be really neat if when you escaped the nowhere in LN3 you actually woke up in the waking world.
im going to die when this series ends on a cliffhanger
I'm beginning to wonder if there could be something to Noone's name. And the recurring thematic focus on duality.
Noon is 12 o'clock. And half of 12... is 6.
Hmmmmm interesting...
They touched upon the fact that her name can be broken up into "No one". That was actually the first thing I noticed when we were introduced to her character, and it fits with the naming convention of most of the kids in LN
No one noone
25:53
AH, HE SAID IT! HE SAID THE THING!
He already mentioned him in EP2. You guys dont pay attention.
How did I have such an intense panic attack listening to this? I don't know what the heck they made it so realistic to the point that I could feel it along with it, the skill of the producers, directors and voice actors in this is superhuman
Fr I tried to listen to this before going to sleep at night but got the creeps so just went to TikTok instead
When I think about the teenagers, I figured that maybe some of the monsters did start as kids, but had slowly reached insanity as they grew older in this world of Nowhere. (Like how ***LN2 spoilers*** Mono had become the Thin Man.)
If this were the case, I'd be really hyped if Rusty's friends end up being monsters in LN3 as well. Like The Circus Freaks or something.
I find it interesting that they've been drawing so much attention to the mirrors in the trailer for the game. This combined with the fact that they included the magician kid splitting into two might hint that they're trying to somewhat bring back some of the lore from those original comics. I know they're technically no longer canon but it might be worth keeping an eye out for more references
The comics are indeed still canon or at the very least canon adjacent.
Wow the lore in this chapter actually pieces together the timeline for little nightmares 3 at least that's what I believe
So what I gather is that the Nowhere is an alternate dimension travelled to through dreams; by children - *POSSIBLY* by adults? - but definetly by children. i'm guessing that the nowhere feeds off of people's desires; as we see the guests going to the maw to feed, and the signal tower quite literally consumes the viewers who are fulfilled by the TV's; so it kinda pretends to be charming to lure you in but eventually it's true side is revealed when it may be getting too late - kinda like the Other World from Coraline maybe??
The Other Mother got nothing on the Denizens of nowhere, she would get wrecked by the denizens, and the Director of the Coraline movie was supposed to make a TV series based on games
The thing which I extremely like about this series is that they have some sort of thing mentioned at the beginning, and then used throughout the rest of the episode. This episode was the breathing, the last one was the mirror (I think) just some form of gimic which will be brought back by the end: which I think adds a layer of mystery to the episodes as you wait how the point made will come back by the end.
It’s all cyclical with LN. Even the games
Just realised something; So this psychologist wants to cross to the other world right? But he is an adult? even though, there is a difference between A doctor for mental issues, and a doctor for actual surgeries, he could be the doctor from little nightmares 2 if he crossed over into the world. He does seem to have an interest in experimenting with Noone and he may have a medical license too. So maybe he somehow did manage to cross and became that monster, OR he could have crossed, and became some sort of a monster psychologist in one of the doctor rooms that you see in the little nightmares 3 trailer. (Which might be a room of the hospital chapter that we didn't see in little nightmares 2, but idk.) Another edit: this is proof to when Samuel replied to my comment, but when she has wires on her head, there was also a patient looking at a picture (Which could be a representation of the picture in first or second chapter) and the same patient had wires attached to the patient.
I think you might be onto something. What if this podcast is actually setting up Otto or even Noone to become the main antagonist of LN3?
@@darestep7844 Yes! That could be true. Noone seems to be a representation of one of the characters I feel- She is probably a seeing through the eyes of others, but I feel six may become the antagonist.
You just convinced me somehow, i believe that these podcasts maybe showing us the world of the third game since in this one they are talking about a carnival just like in the third game (the carnival in the trailers)
@@markot7078 Yeah, they must be- It's definitely 2 realities disguised as "Just a dream" And Some people can't get out of it after travelling there. (Like another comment suggested) While also representing how children view different things, maybe in a more exaggerated way, like (most children would) And it seems the signal tower, or the mirror has something to do with them changing realities, because in the LN III trailer, it took Alone and Low to different dimensions, One of them being the maw in the furnace room. That's all I really have tbh.
that's really interesting actually. Especially given the brain scans and electric chair in the hospital. This could also be the infamous dr from the painting in the first game. Let's hope to get more lore revealed here
It seems that the world of LN is another world where some kids(maybe adults too) enter in their sleep. Pressumed to be just dreams.
Which means those nightmares where real all along.
Six, Mono, Low, Alone and all the other children where sent there. Most maybe unable to wake up.
I feel like Six was able to wake up after the events of LN1, but we'll see if LN3 will ever reference or reveal what happened to her after The Maw.
Overall, this is all amazing!
Fr
@9ightdreamer It’s confirmed that ifs a physical location too. Noone’s body physically left her world while she was dreaming. It’s implied if not outright stayed thsi will happen mor le and more for longer periods of time until she can’t return.
It did appear to start as just a dream, trying to lure her in, but eventually started dragging her all the way in.
Id love to know how kids like Mono got in there, or mainly their backstories and past life
@@macu1515
Yeah! That leaves different possibilities to who they where and all!
Ok thoughts and theories! I feel like when adults travel to nowhere they become monsters and that's why they can't go
The whole theme is how adults use children for their own desires and exploit them and that's exactly what the monsters in nowhere do. If the doctor gets there, he'll change.
Mabey the nowhere turns you into what you are inside or what your greast desire is
Who knows. Time seems strange there. Mabey the doctor IS the candle man, endlessly searching for the child he lost and using children to try and find her or perhaps he's looking for kids with special powers to try and stop whats happening after relising his evil deads
That was pretty much my same idea too!! This whole podcast is making me so excited aaaaa
Yeah!!! Good theory!!
I have heard other theories that all the monsters are results of their desires so makes sense
I gave it thought that each of the locations could hold relevance or represent the seven deadly sins,
The Maw is most definitely gluttony, rounding up the gluttonous like cattle, that all they can do is excessively eat all of their problems away to death.
The Pale City and Signal Tower could represent sloth, full of people that waste their time, all day, every day of their lives away looking at a screen of whatever program on the air they choose until they become those faceless husks of a person.
I now have a dark theory that this Carnival we are hearing about here, and what we seem to see in LN 3 I regrettably say could represent lust, sexualizing and making children do whatever activity at the big top in these shows by whoever "they" are that Rusty refers to, basically a strip club for paedos. Which would be the most craziest level of taboo that this series has ever explored. I think it would be something to be best left implied when we get to this level in LN 3 but not straight up confirm something like that being just too dark. I almost hope I am wrong
@@plasmatic3223 BRO I’VE HAD THE EXACT SAME IDEA FOR YEARS NOW
I have to come forward and admit i was disappointed at first that we were getting a podcast instead of say a series but ive gotta say that the podcast style works so much better in the context of LN. Something about only being able to hear whats happening and not being able to see it makes it feel you're fabricating your own nightmare based off the description or at least thats how it feels for me which I think is awesome.
I also like how this podcast is teasing what the Carnival level in LN3 is going to feel like. The description of people slumping next to one another reminded me of the guests piling in the maw, both feel 1. Comparable to sheep/ cattle despite being somewhat human and 2. Both seem to reflect the worst of human nature in this case i feel the guests reflect greed and the audience at the carnival gluttony.
I dont want to drag this comment however given how 'human' these things can be in the real world i dont think its a stretch to theorise that all adults that find their way into the nowhere( nightmare realm) are corrupted and the nightmare seems to use their worst qualities against them, a bit like a sort of hell. I believe the doctor is going to find his way into the nightmare and his weakness, his want for knowledge will be used to lure him deeper into the nightmare, teasing him with answers until its too late. If you've made it this far than really, thank you for giving me the time of day and let me know what you think.
The podcast is the exact opposite of the games telling the story with just words instead of visuals
Nowhere? Isn’t that the location that will take place in LN3? Maybe will get references to Noone and the counselor in the game. As for C.C, my theory is that it’s either Six or the girl who first wore the yellow raincoat from Very Little Nightmares. Though im more on the idea it was Six, that or Six was just one of his patients considering he talks about caring his patients by numbers in CH1.
Im pretty sure nowhere is the name of the entire little nightmare world from what I heard.
I agree completely, I'm getting very intrigued as to how this podcast will end up connecting to LN3's story.
@@MarlonOgbeidewrong, the nowhere is the name of the entire world of Little Nightmares.
Yes, Nowhere is the world of LN :) Wr can also connect the two because of the mention of carnivals and mirrors. Noone describes a carnival in this dream that we also happen to see in the trailer of the LN3 game. We also may connect that The Counselor not being able to go with Noone into her dreams can be compared to the mirrors from the trailer. :))

rusty is a goner, i’m calling it
he probably died
@@digitalisdraws2361 He definitely died, I'm thinking it was pretty gruesome or traumatic considering how panicked Noone was when explaining. Maybe he got turned into a wooden dummy? or he just got his throat gashed and fell to the floor of the Big Top, who knows! Maybe we'll see a reference to him inside the carnival in ln3 :O
@@MalakSmalak Yeah! I was assuming that he was probably just pushed off, and then broke all his bones and died, and the reason Noone is so distressed is because it was her responsibility to be look out and got distracted until it was too late, so she blames herself for it. that’s my interpretation of it! however, a more gory or unusual death would be fitting for Little Nightmares! It’ll be cool if we see evidence to what happened to the performers in ln3!
"Spirited away" i see what you guys did there
So it's confirmed that teens exist in Little Nightmares. However, they are rare.
in the first little nightmares, the part where the janitor takes six, in the back cages there are children of different sizes from six the runaway boy and the mono... maybe these are some of the teenagers
This series is making me wanna make my own chapter for the sounds of nightmares, I already have a title: "Secrets of the Art gallery" it's about noone exploring an art gallery before she goes down a rabbithole of a certain artist, and things take a disturbing turn
Chapter 4, alright.
*Important Notes:*
- Previously, Noone's dreams seem to be getting more real with each experience.
- The room Noone and Otto are discussing about her nightmares this time, is in a Reunion Room.
- Noone this time, awoke in what appears to be a circus/carnival like place, which coincides with one of the regions in LN3 that we will get to see.
- It's seems to be true that there's another world/dimension out there where these "Nightmares" exist in.
*Story:*
We begin with Otto monologuing to himself (probably reading a book) about Psychology.
In the topic of Duality, Otto states that within Noone:
"there's the innocent child, and the disturbed traveller. Both fight for control."
Otto believes that Noone is travelling in-between two worlds... Or that he has gone insane.
Otto talks with Noone about whilst sleeping, she vanished, yet her brain activity (as shown in a device)
was still ongoing.
This leaves Noone distressed and confused, having a panic attack.
And after Otto tells Noone to calm down, relax and breathe steadily.
After eating some cake, Noone and Otto's discussions finally properly begin, Otto asks for Noone to equip on the device she usually wears in sleep, so he can compare the information with what he's obtained whilst asleep.
Interestingly, whilst noone dreamt of the carnival world, she met someone named Rusty, and other teenagers, all part of the same Carnival group.
Interestingly, rusty explained that he hates having to perform and put on a show,
and that "They" force him.
Rusty told Noone to keep the lookout for a purple man on a suit, and then give the sign.
After convincing noone to help him and his group, he explains his plan will help them escape the world they were currently in.
Back to reality, whilst talking to otto, Noone also believes that yes, the place she goes to whilst asleep is somehow connected to reality, like.. two separate rooms with one door connecting both.
And after both discuss and argue about it, Otto explains that he wants to go to the nowhere with Noone, because he lost someone dear to him, it's why he's so interested in talking to Noone.
Noone has another panic attack with all of what she's hearing to.
Otto calms her down once again, and Noone continues her story.
When they got to the top, Noone and her group prepared themselves
Noone got to the tent, and Rusty led her to one of the best seats to watch the show and be on the lookout.
where her newfound allies put on a show for allot of guests, which seem to be pretty comparable to the ones we've seen in LN1, except they aren't as hungry as those.
When rusty gets on stage, Noone notices the man in the purple suit on a seat closeby.
Noone got worried with that same man, as she could feel him breathing,
and even, looking at her... without eyes?
there was also a strange dummy on the man's lap.
Because of the crowd's cheer, rusty couldn't her Noone screaming her sign.
which grew in size, and creeped the hell out of Noone.
With the immersion on the story broke, Noone gets another panic attack, this time it was worse than the others, and Otto has to calm her down again..
Im not sure what happened in the end, Noone either fell unconscious, or disappeared.
By the end, it's Otto once again monologuing to himself about what noone has told him,
it's becoming harder and harder to believe that these nightmares aren't just nightmares,
but rather somewhere.
He genuinely wants to reach that place, "Nowhere" and understand who Ferryman truly is.
*Conclusion:*
This chapter was incredibly interesting, it basically leaves the groundwork for the Little Nightmares world happening in another Reality.
Which is way more interesting than the boring answer of: "Oh they're just dreaming, nothing is real."
This is great world building for little nightmares 3. Can't wait to see all these locations in game
We won't see them all. I think the carnaval is the only we will cus its the only one written by Supermassive (the devs of LN3) and also we can see some parts of it in the trailer
How vast is this Nowhere? If it encompassed a desert that contained an ancient ruins, an ocean, the Pale City and a forest, it must be a very vast place.
However, what I am curious is about what Otto wanted to know. If this friend of his, Cece, is still stuck there. Where could she be? Is she still trapped in a form of a child? Is she now a gnome? Did she grow up in there along with the rest of her body in the waking world while also becoming one of the denizens in this nightmarish world? Or worst, is she someone's food already? And what happened if the child died in this nightmarish world?
Also, why nobody made connection with the animated movie about Doctor Strange from 2007 yet?! You know, like how Dormammu tried to come to Earth from the Dark Dimension through the children's nightmares and dreams!
@lerneanlion The children don’t stay in their original world. Their bodies are physically transported as well as time goes on. That’s why CeCe vanished. There is no physical trace of her remaining in her homeworld other than people’s memories.
The same is beginning to happen to Noone. Otto details physically witnessing her vanish and I think it happens again? I’m not sure if he was referring in this episode to episode 3’s vanishing incident or another one.
But yeah, it starts off as a dream and gradually becomes a physical tangible reality that pulls its visitors over and traps them on the other side. They get transported there when they go to sleep, and their real bodies eventually start coming over with them.
Hope that was clear!
The circus is on a flying ship. The stone giant wall. The mall, the seaside town with bathhouse
I saw a theory that cece might’ve been the lady
@@unprofessionaltheoneandonly Really, where?
Ahh I love this series, it does a wonderful job at maintaining suspended disbelief. Dreams or nightmares in this case don't often try to make sense of themselves, at least not to the viewer. All they wish to do is make thier presence known.
Im starting to think on a few things
1. Noone could be Six all along and this is telling Six's backstory, and maybe revealing her true name to be No-one
2. She could be turning into something due to traveling into the Nightmare world and back
3. She might be getting powers from these dreams that she just can't control
Thats all I think is probably happening, but I could be wrong! Overall I love this episode! This is just getting better and better! Can't wait for the next chapter!
Pretty sure six is ottos daughter because of her name Cecile on the dictionary means the sixth child
I thought about it too but I forgot to put it down, but that could be true too!

I hate otto how he does not give a fuck of what noone is going through. in my opinion he just wants to know who the candle man is. the way he is so DESPERATE to find out which and what he is.. just triggers me because he is isn't paying attention to noone's real feelings. for example, she wasn't so comfortable to do the test with wires and all that and than the way otto just throws in "trust, remember?" its just so.. triggering. the way he isn't paying attention to noone's feelings at all is the way how I feel people treat me.. not paying attention to you or even understanding you and you problems..
It's got to be intentional to, he's got to be a villain of some sort cuz he just sounds like he's trying to be her friend to get answers, but the answers are not to help her at all it's only helping him and only him
Otto feels fake somehow, its hard to describe but when he talks to Noone it seems like he is just pretending
I think Otto started with good intentions, then got more and more obsessed with finding his missing relative (Cece).
wasn't the ferryman the monster that originally brought six to the maw in the little nightmares comics?
Yep
I’ve had nightmares where I’ve made a friend in the dream only to lose them or watch them perish. I’ve also had some where my voice closes up and I can’t scream loud enough for help.
A nightmare world would indeed be a true nightmare, for your mind only knows what you fear most.

This franchise's lore & world-building are absolutely fantastic. I couldn't be more thrilled with this direction, & it also makes each of the games more replayable.
I can’t wait for the sixth episode. They’ve gotta have something good in plan for it, right?
I have strange feeling it either going to break our hearts or leaves in a cliff hanger or both.

I have expected a lot of things to unsettle me in horror games, movies and podcast. But I did not expect that one of the top 5 scariest things I'd hear is literally a therapist counting down breathings joyfully while her poor patient is straight up dying.
So at first, Otto said "her health must come first".
Here, Noone straights up passes out in front of him, and he goes:
"The worst part is that she wont share more secrets to me >:("
I don’t know if I’m off my rocker but I was looking for equivalents of Otto in LN, which would basically be a person who is meant to help another little girl and the only one that really fits is mono or maybe the runaway kid who help six. If it’s mono the characteristics kind of align as mono is also someone who tried helping a little girl who is sometimes a bit too forceful and removes the innocence of the girl (mono breaking the music box).
I like the detail of the background changing, the dark blues and purples on the first few logs but for red it’s began to be more intense
The man in the purple suit that Noone was to be on the lookout for: Mono was often bathed in purple light in promos for the second game, and so was his hallway... As an adult, the light behind him as we saw him go from child in rags to a Man in a SUIT was thick, hazy, and purple... Maybe this is Mono in one of his time hopping travels. The Dr. himself will become the Ferryman once he finally learns to cross over, and CeCe that he's looking for is a grown up Six --The Lady...
Could be possible to be honest 🤔 I just assumed that he works under mono. Like mono controls the entertainment in the nowhere and he has people around the world to be sure that everything works like it suppose to work. I used to think he was the jester of whoever was controlling the world.
I was wondering if it could be adult Mono as well. I appreciate how accurately you pieced this together though. I wouldn't even be upset if the doctor was the Ferryman. They could fit together nicely
This is wrong in so many ways.
Firstly mono can't be the man in the purple suit due to how he's stuck in the loop(and nowhere while as thin man he decides to own a carnival and get a dummy lol) secondly for the last time, Six ISN'T the Lady, it was already confirmed several times that they aren't related. And about the dr, it makes more sense for him to become the supposed mirror man in the game rather than the ferryman, specially when "Psychiatry is mostly smoke and mirrors". Also why would he be the one to kidnap his beloved one? lmfao
@@FV0RT3X finally someone said it. Sometimes I feel like theories go out of hand and people just easily believe them...
@@MistaManlyGuy thank you. They leave just enough breadcrumbs for you to do with them as you will, in terms of theory crafting. Just how I interpreted things with a few of the breadcrumbs and just from these few stories.
The voice acting in this did not need to go so hard but it does, and its amazing!
This one gave me chills because I thought she disappeared, but I'm realizing that's not what happened.
What happened?
@@pip_a_doodle2175 I think she had a panic attack and ran out of the room
YES CHAPTER 4 LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
in the steam news for little nightmares 3 it says "Are you ready to return to Nowhere, little ones?"
edit: now that I think about it back in chapter 1 wen noon was in the walls of the clock tower she never described it as a building, the closest she got was describing it as a prison(but as we have seen from the first game prisons can be wired in this world) she only ever called it a stone giant, in the trailer for little nightmares 3 the monster we see most of is this building sized doll, could that be the stone giant she was in? what if ever chapter of the sounds of nightmares is a hint at the monsters and locations we will encounter in the 3rd game,
the stone giant as mentioned, the trailer also showed plump men and women dancing in a lantern lit market at night which could be the bath house, and chapter 3 had noon brake a mirror and some kind of haunted mirror kept showing up in the trailer
What if "Low" and "Alone" visited Nowhere the 1st time and Now they visit it again?
"It's Nowhere"
Pure Goosebumps 😯 😯
So, either the dummy is controlling the guy in the purple suit or he sees/acts through the doll
BEEN WAITING AND THEORISING FOR THE LONGEST WEEK OF MY LIFE LETS GO!! This was such an amazing episode, so much about The Nowhere, and also this new Carnival we'll be facing in The Spiral and perhaps the resident inside the carnival being the Ventriloquist. Absolutely fascinating story :O
(SPOILER WARNING) The pink back round is a foreshadow to what happens later in the episode. As we know we've seen this colour alot in little nightmares II the negative meaning of pink/hot pink whatever you like to call it. the meaning of it is "A lack of will power, self reliance and a lack of self worth." Mono was forced to become the thin man which explains why the pink color is shown on is transformation. In this case, Noone tried to shout the phrase to rusty but couldn't breathe which is a lack of will power. Then after that she said "1, 2-) then cut out which means rusty after climbing to the top of the tent the puppet pushed him off and met is fait. Sorry if this comment was so long just putting my thoughts out there and the symbolism behind these thing
Mabey, that's what's happening to the other kids. Six, Mono, Seven, Low and Alone. They live in our world and when they go to sleep. They go to that place.
Except it seems like Noone is just a visitor and there’s a way to get trapped there like Rusty and other kids she’s encountered
Even thou its just a procast I love it soo much . If they even think of make as a series to watch ? AM ALL HERE FOR FOR IT!!! Little nightmares Its the Best!!♥️♥️♥️
I love horror podcasts! Reminds me of those old horror radio shows from the 80s and prior.
yeees
So here's my theory about Nowhere:
Nowhere's time works different. Otto told Noone's body vanished for a split second. But she spent way more time in there. Which makes me think that a second in real world is equal to longer time in Nowhere. Also even though Mono spent years in there, he is still a child in real world if my theory is correct. (I'm not a native speaker i might misunderstood some stuff, correct me if so.)
Who starts dancing when they hear the start theme it’s just so LN fuel
Edit: can someone tell the name of the voice actor of noone
Amy Purshouse, all the names are in the credits at the end
@@sirenfang1179 thx
I think its possible that "Sissy" he is looking for is actually Six in the nowhere and Oto will cross into the nowhere and he will be someone we know or maybe someone we are going to see in little nightmares 3. Maybe he is the mirror monster. Idk, just a theory
But isn't Cece a boy?
@CoryNoelisnotchildkidnapper no and she is his sister actually
@@HorrorFan0 When he say that Cece is his sister.
Edit: Okay, I find that part.
@@CoryNoelcrackhouse OK 👍
I was reallly fearful near the end I didn't know if she be ok, but how you did that made me feel sorry for her. again great job and I can't wait to hear more of this!!!
Damn excited for this one! Such a well made podcast.
So now it’s confirmed that the world from her dreams and the world from the Little Nightmares games is the same! Both Noone and the video description from LN3 describe the world as being “Nowhere” (It’s probably been mentioned elsewhere too but I just never noticed until now…). It’s really interesting that there seems to be an entire normal reality that our protagonists definitely originated from.
Also, this series is fantastic!! The voice actors do a phenomenal job and the sound effects and music really make it easy to visualize exactly what’s happening. I can’t wait for more!!
Oh my wordddd IMAGINE THIS AS A MOVIE. I did not expect to actually get scared, the panic in her voice along with the sounds and everything else is just amazing
So cece the girl otto is looking for was a patient/relative of him, who disappeared years ago who is most probably six cuz in very little nightmares six had the outfit of a hospital patient (cuz otto was treating her in hospital then she disappeared)
noone’s voice actor is fantastic 😮😮
I absolutely adore this little story (as well as the games!) And i have to say well done to the voice actors, they are so good. Its been a while since ive been hooked onto something, so excited for next tuesday !
This is everything I think is going on so far (Just my theory)
The Nowhere is some alternate universe or future in which it's reality, as well as society has been completely twisted, and transmogrified by the signal tower or whatever the big supernatural corruptive force behind everything is, that feeds off children's fears, and psychological suffering until they ultimately grow up to become monsters themselves "warped by pain" as mentioned in the last episode. The world the Nowhere is itself has been almost, if not entirely purged of all it's children as most of them are now the monsters we see in the games, and hear about in this podcast series being completely stripped away of their innocence. Now it resorts to pulling other children from other universes suffering from traumas from the rips in time, and space the signal has caused from all the reality alterations it has done to the world it originated in. Noone's past trauma from having the water sickness, being on TV, and possibly taken advantage of by this celebrity doctor that Otto mentions, to even her discovering the aphids in the flower pot. All those events is how she is phasing in, and out between the Nowhere, and this world where the sessions take place until she is in the Nowhere permanently, just like C.C. , Six, Mono, Low, Alone, and many more of the other children in this series. (ps props to the voice actors in this episode, this storytelling, and acting did not need to be this good)
I wonder if this means that the kids in the games are crossing into another world of sleep and dreams, or if somehow that other world has overcome the 'waking' world and replaced everything. If the former, they could be saved by 'waking up'. If the latter, well, that would be a real nightmare.
The state of meditation this makes me fall in is crazy
Here's my theory: Each of these episodes is parallel to a current game/future game. We have episode 1 paralleling Little Nightmares 1. Episode 3 paralleling Lightle Nightmares 2. With the whole carnival thing going on in this episode and the potential carnival in the trailer for Little Nightmares 3, I feel it is possible that this episode parallels Little Nightmares 3. There are 6 episodes, which means we would have episode 5 or 6 left to parallel Very Little Nightmares, leaving the other of 5/6 and episode 3 for future games. (It is possible that episode 3 is a parallel for the 2017 comics. However, it has been a while since I've read those, so I wouldn't know. If this is the case, I'd be shocked if the remaining episode didn't parallel the 2021 comics)
The starting phrase in each episode "From the world of Little Nightmares" has me quite perplexed as to whether this series is canon or not. It could mean that it is actually in the same world,* or that it is just another piece of the franchise (like how the FNAF book may or may not be in the same cannon as the games)
*world meaning same universe or whatnot (same existence?)
I think that the fairy man's goal is to bring as many people fully into the Nowhere and that this entire time, all of the game locations have been other realms that kids have been kidnapped and brought to. Meaning that this entire time all of these locations have been sort of fake.
I feel as though this theory has been staring at us this entire time. With the name "Little " shouldn't we have assumed that it was all only a dream? That none of it was real? This was a theory that had been simmering in my brain for a while and I hated it. But somehow, this series has changed that theory, from something that feels cheap and cliche, into something that feels well thought out and satisfying.
This video is giving me all the more high hopes for the lore of this franchise
This chapter did really get to me with all the panicking, the background sound and others along with the other chapters. Really scary and really great script making the stories more informative to take note of what is happening to Noon (?) lately along with Otto trying to seek the secrets of Noon's nightmare/experience👍😁. Love it.❤
IT SEND SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE
This is getting more interesting every time I listen to this story. Can't wait for Chapter 5.😊
25:53 does he mean candle man, or did he just confirm that the Candleman and Ferryman are one in the same
and how did he know his name?Dmm
@@MaterialEqualMe that’s why I’m confused
@@bdstudios8700 He might excatly know what happened to cissy.Maybe cissy met him too and he know who he is.I hope this will be that much clear or else it might be more worse.
@@bdstudios8700 and yes candleman is ferry man.
The moment when Noone can’t breath properly, I just hold my breath
The dialogue, the story and the tense, the background and the effect sound were just too remarkable and I’m sooo in to depth in the story.. I hope they could just continue this story without left it hanging, I want the truth until the end
i feel so bad for her at the end
While listening to her encounter with the other kids, that were above the wooden boxes. I kind of remembered six talking with other kids around the fire 🔥, one of the chapters of the old comics
This chapter is my favorite, is so immersive with earphones with all the sounds that happens
I think the circus location with the monster in purple suit and teenagers they are inspired by the toyland of pinocchio and the coachman(always of the story of Pinocchio)
Have your theories my friends
This chapter is really similar to the fun fair zone in the upcoming little nightmares 3
I remember there a concept art in ln1 art book
One big person with a smaller person
Wow wow wow!! The chills! This episode was something else... So incredible. Can't wait for the next one!
I ant gone lie the doc been outta pocket ever since ep 2 or so smh. Cuz anyone can hear it in his tone when talking to Alone smh.
But these tapes are interesting and I think in theory the tapes are a prelude to come or connect to the bigger pic of the LNM's world building
It's Noone. Alone is the character in the upcoming game
Noone started getting scared for rusty in peed a tiny bit 😢😢😢
Little nightmares is peak 🔥❤️👌🤩
2:42 why does he sound exactly like the peppa pig narrator? 💀
bro I just noticed 💀
Lmao true
I felt noones fear while listening to this. I love this series so much. I don’t think I can sleep after this.
Edit: also my theory is wrong in the last chapter. It’s not the thin man it’s the ferryman which makes more since. Also I did research from google.
This series is amazing, they did a fantastic job with these!!! I’m loving all these theories, i am a little skeptical about the game from the trailer but these episodes are getting me excited nonetheless.
There’s so much suspense, I can’t wait for the next episode!
I am really enjoying this series. Keep them coming until the game drops.
Theory, in the last episode they revealed that dreaming is in another type of dimension, they also said that Noone felt a hand letting go of her, she also always hust kinda spawns somewhere, so my theory is that time works differently in the dreamworld, so someone can first dreams of something that comes five years later then her next dream
