I think I like this particular home. To have it in a different location, unless a much larger lot, I'm not so sure. First, no yard, so makes having dogs problematic, and no possibility of anything other than a nice patio. Love the interior layout. On this model home you missed what to me is the key point. The front of the house is more like the rear of most homes, except for that beautiful porch. With the green space out front, it will never be on a street, so...more like a primary suite access to a back porch. I think that makes hanging on the "front" porch so much more inviting. Great tour of a beautiful home. Glad you made it thru Ian intact.
One of the best Matammy floor plans in my opinion. The exterior elevation, the wrap-around porch, the windows, two-story-high foyer, the french door in the main bedroom with metal grids leading out to the veranda, the stairs with a bright and airy feel because of tons of windows, and the stairs are wide so there is no problem in moving stuff, four glass stackable sliding door going out to the covered lanai, the lanai is huge as well, window sills are huge too, flex space on the first floor, master closet attached to the laundry room, the loft has two sections, jack and jill bedroom, good size secondary bedrooms and the list goes on and on. I am just wowed.
This is beautiful. If I hadn't just bought, I'd be looking at this! I love their furniture choices here. Those double sideboards in the dining and loft. Lovely!
Looks like it moved a little south and in any case we think it will just be some rain. Ironically, our Sunday Drive this week talks about Hurricane Season starting up!
Hello Amy You are looking great What a beautyfull home i love that portch when you are in you bedroom you step directory on that portch i love IT And whatva amazing lay out I love the watherfal edg on the island i love the kitchen and living room the flow is amazing Thank you for showing us this amazing home And have a Nice werkend Anja
Terrific video and tour. I think having the microwave below the countertop would get old after a few days. By the way, I find myself watching more of your videos just to see you in a skirt. Keep up the good work.
@@HeartandHomeOrlando I think with all that counter space you can put a decent size microwave in the corner. It's much more convenient and saves a lot of wear and tear on your back, especially if you are tall.
Hey Amy. Happy Friday. Rear entry garage usually means no pool; however love the porch. But do folks really sit for hours in the front of their home? Nice open entry. That office/bedroom tucked privately to the right. Privately across the hall is the primary. Oh. Leads to the porch. It’s nice but I prefer my primary and patio in the rear of the home. But love you can access the laundry through the closet. Wow. Enter your bedroom from the front and can exit into the living room. Nice open concept kitchen/dining/living. Waterfall island and details on the island. Covered lanai. Didn’t expect that. Does the property go to the white fence. 🤔’ing if room for a pool. The window going up the stairs is lovely for natural and moonlight. Amy. You said it as I thought it. Spacious bedrooms. Like there’s a single bath for the first bedroom and a Jack n Jill for the other 2 bedrooms. Like the 2 loft areas A & B as you named it. 2 things not to my liking. I could get over the primary in the front. But if a pool could fit that would be amazing. Thanks so much and see you next video.
Room for a pool would be dependent on the actual lot that you chose. I hear you on the primary bedroom in the front. But in this style of community I think people really do sit out front. It is the same in Oakland Park which looks and feels similar. Kind of a lifestyle choice for sure!
Hi Amy Been a fan of your videos for a while. You’re extremely knowledgeable and I love your style. I agree with several other comments here. Your legs are fantastic and wearing wedges just notches up the hotness level. Thanks again for all the home videos, they’re fun to watch. Do you have a workout routine?
Thanks for watching and the nice comments. No real workout routine though I do some Pilates from time to time... as for the legs comments... no comment. :)
That is true! And candidly that is why we are just now featuring the location. You can now have a buyer's agent in this community! In the past, I have told my clients about the option, but I've also had to tell them that I couldn't help them with their purchase. Now I can! :)
@@HeartandHomeOrlando Sorry! One more question...can a buyer use an agent to build a home, or just for their existing spec homes at Island Village? Thanks!
You can use an agent for anything you like! :) Sometimes it is even more helpful to have an experienced agent helping you when you are "building from dirt" because there are lots more things to figure out!
I have a question . . How did you lose the weight? You look amazing! C'mon help out us chubby potential clients. Keto? Weight Watchers? Veganism? How did you do it? Even if you ignore me, I will still watch your very informative videos. They are very interesting and even though prices have sky rocketed, they are still not as high as the North East!
Awww. You are very sweet and I would never ignore you! :) I am on a medication for something non-serious... but it has the secondary benefit of being an appetite suppressant. They said it might result in some weight loss and it did!
Disney is still the top employer in the State and a huge economic draw... and I get calls continuously from people wanting to move here specifically for Disney. So while I am certain there are plenty of people who don't like Disney, there is pretty strong evidence that they are a highlight for many others. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@lovejago Thanks for the comments. I do about 10 phone calls per week with people from out of state who are looking to move here. There are definitely people who come for the weather, there are definitely people who are looking for lower taxes. But there are also many people who are coming because they want to live near Disney... or that they will be working there. It is nice that there is so much about this area to like!

VERY NICE HOME LOVE THE MASTER BUT NO ROOM FOR A POOL GOD BLESS
That is true in this particular case... but depending on the lot you actually chose you might be able to make something work.

I've got that microwave setup myself to make room for the gourmet kitchen. You get used to it... but never ideal.

I believe there was a time when Mattamy would not allow buyers to have an agent in Island Village? Has that changed? I hope so!
