Small motorhome with lots of storage. Challenger Genesis C194.

- At six metres, one can say that the Challenger Genesis is a small motorhome but it does have an overcab which means that it is quite tall. This is an interesting overcab and I would suggest those looking for a vehicle this size with a lot of storage also consider the equivalent Hobby model, or my favourite in this class, which is the EuraMobil Activa One.
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.

I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! It is one of the best layouts in this size. Good quality for the money imho.
I think those looking at van conversions might like also to consider something like this. You get a lot more space in a small motorhome than you do in a van conversion.
This one isn’t for me personally. I would only want to sleep two at maximum and the interior of this one is really unimaginative to my eyes.
Yes definitely nice good size bathroom,big mirror, skylight too, window too ?shower curtains have a tendency to get moldy, like the sliding door, pull down rail top of shower to hang clothes/towels to dry too.
For the price and size this unit isnt bad
Overall a very good looking van externally and internally, maximising the use of the length of the vehicle with captains chairs and overcabin bed with windows and small skylight, 6,35cm of underfloor insulation sounds good heat retention wise and probably reduces road noise too, the bathroom is a good size, plenty storage space all round, reasonable size adjustable height garage, pity the back bed doesn't go far lower and higher, outside light is good but no fitted awning. Looks good value for money.
How is it that this cost around 50.000 and you get proper beds for 4 people.toilet and shower etc. But you pay 60.000 or more for a VW camper van. That’s doesn’t have any of that 🤔
You didn't pay any attention to the other sides of the outside of the van or shut the doors to see what it looks like with them closed or point out the fold down worktop, open and show us the fridge, show us the cupboards above the hob and sink, or point out the window in bathroom.
Surely if delivery is an option you can opt to collect it yourself 😄😃😅😂😁😅😄😃😂😁😅😅
Some household sofa beds are light and just foam you could put in garage space or even use outside under the awning.
You didn't pay any attention to the available cupboards directly above the sink and hob that wouldn't involve bending down, suppose you could put a shelf in the wardrobe for food storage so your not bending down so much, a slide out rack would be nice, no kichen workspace except on hob and sink and little fold up flap.
You could hang clothing on the outside of the wardrobe on the bed side and even on walls around the bed, dont like having to do the fan dango on the bed to get to the cupboards, so you can have a large garage or you could have a lounge below the back bed, like high up beds and with a large garage less space inside to heat, looks like bed only moves 30cm which isn't much in height to move ?
Apparently people are having problems with covid tests being done on time and one member ending with a inconclusive result or positive result jeopardising holidays and their expected overall cost, one reason why people are increasingly wanting motorhomes because places have to be booked for caravans.

Chausson is available in RHD which is exactly the same as Challenger!

That’s a good bathroom in a 6m van. However, the overall design seems a bit thrown together - a collection of things you’d find in a motorhome than a single elegant design.
Whenever those overcab beds get mentioned on Facebook groups there’s never an adult couple that uses them - one adult only or a teenager or it’s where you store stuff. So probably doesn’t need to be so big, accept that it’s just an upper bunk rather than a full double and neaten the shape.
But, lot of stuff in 6m, the shorter length probably more helpful to fit onto a domestic driveway as much as parking when out and about.
Yeah many have to park in the front or back gardens because they've no drive way to the side.
Yeah come to think of it that's how it tends to work with those cabin beds, probably are better as a single.
