When you did the build, on your driven element, did you use a “hair pin match” or a gamma match. I don’t believe you talked about that in the video. I went to the yagi calculator site and it also didn’t talk about the match for the driven element.
Enjoyed the video, but didn’t see some info needed for a diy build.

why do some antennas have a shorted out boom where the braid of the coax eventually makes contact with the core?
